Great dresses,both Ladies look fantastic. Camilla wear's white very well, also like'd the dress Melania wore.The First Lady has the best designer;s so where is the call not to dress her?.
ReplyDeleteCamilla's dress tonight is beautiful and suits her so well--one of the nicest formal gowns I have seen her wear ever. However, the First Lady's outfit is just divine, fabulous, magnificent, gorgeous. She is also genuinely smiling in some of these photos, especially the last one where they are seated, and she is beautiful
ReplyDeleteok Camilla's dress tonight is fine, however in my view far too similar to the one for the previous dinner. The words which come to my mind are 'lack of imagination' for successive events. I admit she wears white very well, but still..

ReplyDeleteCamilla always looks best in dresses with a gently body-skimming silhouette, and her very becoming gown is of that type. Her hair looks quite nice too.
I think Melania's red dress is prettier than the one she wore to the State Dinner. I also like Camilla's white dress and, of course, her jewels are stunning.
ReplyDeleteYes, all the ladies look smashing and I agree that Camilla wears white extremely well - during the day and in the evening. She wears white or off-white a lot and it suits her very well. She has a great stylist who knows her stuff.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Trump's dress reminds me of one Queen Letizia has worn before. Her hair is perfect and she looks great ... (and a bit like a Star Wars Emperors guard - I'm a fan of SW, lol).
Who is the third lady in white in the middle of the last photograph, with the feathered neckline? Are her sleeves the same as Mrs. Trumps?
The third woman is Suzanne Johnson, Woody Johnson's wife. The US Ambassador to London.

ReplyDeleteAm I wrong but didn’t Stella McCartney design a similar gown to Melania’s that most of the royal ladies have worn in the last 2 years? I think Melania has also worn one in white on another foreign trip. I am really not fond of the cape like sleeves on these dresses but they have been very popular.

ReplyDeleteI never thought I would say this... but for me Camilla looks so much better than Mrs. Trump. I love the white/ivory tone, the fabric is fabulous, and the silhouette fits her body without hugging where it shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteI won't dare say that Melania looks bad, not at all, but it seems like we've seen this dress over and over, royals as well celebrities, the only difference is the transparency on top. I find the whole effect too dramatic almost stage like.
I do however like the fit of the dress, she tends to wear her outfits way too tight, but this one is perfect, and shows a fantastic figure, I also wish she would've worn a good updo.

Fully agree about Camilla, Cherry Blossom. She looks beautiful and I love the sheer fabric of her dress and the gorgeous necklace.
DeleteI also get what you mean about Melania, but for me, it's still an awesome look, she looks so graceful. Her smile looks genuine as well, good for her!!
The First Lady is stunning in red; perfect posture and radiant. I am not a fan of Camilla's jewels, as they look old fashioned and outdated. I think something more simple would have offset the gown Camilla is wearing. Would rather see her in something more simple and better fitted at the waist.
ReplyDeleteCamilla is a beautiful woman ageing naturally and she knows how to dress to look glam AND comfortable. The First Lady's dress is sleek and in a beautiful colour, but she never looks relaxed. Tuxedos on the gents are fab.

ReplyDeleteMelanie's style is very good almost always, eg. this capedress is amazing. But her face has definitely too many fillers, it does not look good anymore.

DeleteCamilla looks wonderful in that gown , I think another soft color would have been also nice , a soft yellow , or grey. Melania looks good in red and she looks nice smiling , she doesn’t smile very often. Her posture is always perfect. Trump should button his jacket . He doesn’t like to button his jackets . It too casual .
