On the second day of her working visit to Lebanon, The Countess of Wessex met with the President Michel Aoun. Afterwards, The Countess joined a meeting with people from the Lebanon host communities support programme. The programme supports vulnerable Lebanese communities hosting Syrian refugees in job creation, local services and peace-building. (The Countess wore a new floral print shirt dress by Suzannah.) |
The Countess later met the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr Saad Hariri. Afterwards, The Countess visited a shelter which supports refugee women, young people and children and offers temporary housing, medical assistance, counselling and legal help. This is the first official Royal visit to Lebanon. |
Would have liked to see the dress a bit shorter, like the model, but a pretty dress. Victoria should take note... there is a way to wear your hair up and not be so severe looking. Sophie also wears her hair up much of the time, but in such a soft, flattering way.
ReplyDeleteSophie looks wonderful. Relaxed yet dignified. The length is perfect for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you.
DeleteMost of Sophie’s dresses are too long. They are measured for a 5’8” model, not a 5’4” Sophie. She needs to buy them and take them straight to a tailor. This length makes almost every woman look dowdy - are you listening Victoria?
ReplyDeleteHero, I totally agree with you. It's exactly what I was going to say--all her dresses recently are too long and swamp her. I think this is a great dress but would look so much better if around 6 inches shorter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit for the Countess of Wessex.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteGod love her. She goes to countries and areas that no other member of the royal family will go. Bet she didn't pick up a big jewelry haul on this trip. She cares more for the cause.
ReplyDeleteLol! But I completely agree with you.
DeleteLovely appearance for Sophie. I really like the dress, I think the length is ok.
