On June 19, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima reopened the Central Military Hospital in Utrecht, which has been modernized and renovated. The Central Military Hospital (CMH) offers second-line health care to Dutch soldiers by repatriation from abroad. Afterwards, Queen Maxima was present at the launch of the Schuldenlab project in Almelo. The platform will work with local projects focused on intervention or curation that will help vulnerable groups to get debt-free. Schuldenlab tries to ensure a debt free city for vulnerable groups. The only items I like in this look are the shoes and purse. I do not care for the see-through dress, messy hair, or extra large hat.
ReplyDeleteagree!
DeleteOh Maxima, did you leave the elegance in the UK ?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I dislike about her look is the large hat otherwise everything is pretty lovely . The hat dose not suit the event and it hides her face . Indoors she look very nice without it. Love this color on Maxima.
ReplyDeleteI agree only the hat, again overdressing for the event; but she took it off at some time.
DeleteI don't mind it - I like the colours and the style and length. I would prefer the underskirt to be the same length as the actual dress and the hat is very large for an indoor event like this.
ReplyDeleteAgree with everything you say!
DeleteNo need for an umbrella here... the hat is enough.
ReplyDeleteha ha!
DeleteGanz ehrlich?
DeleteWhy don't you write more about the norwegian royals? I mean, Queen Sonja wore such a pretty dress on a visit in Hordaland, Norway, yesterday and you haven't mentioned it at all.
ReplyDeleteCompletely overdressed. Someone should tell her that she isn't at Ascot anymore.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
Deleteagree as well!
DeleteAgree,
Deleteha ha totally agree!
DeleteCompletely overdressed. Someone should tell her that she isn't at Ascot anymore.
ReplyDeleteNope don't care for this outfit.
ReplyDeleteI generally like Maxima's outfits - colourful, vibrant, always speaks her personality and her bright smile. And she can digest all of 'em with her well-proportioned body and a symmetric face.
ReplyDeleteHowever, am I the only one who thinks her bosom area can be rather a miss sometimes?

I agree. A good bra would do wonders.
Deleteagree!
DeleteOK, I don't care how "in" the look of semi-sheer skirts over short underskirts is, imo it is atrocious. Except for that, the dress is gorgeous and such a luscious color, and the coordinating accessories are lovely too. The hat -- well, at least it matches :-D. If the brim weren't so huge, it would be very chic.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I hope the fad of short underskirts is near its end.
DeleteLleva un paraguas en la cabeza?. Que exagerada, esa Pamela es correcta para la playa.
ReplyDeleteActually I do like every piece separately, except for the lining, it should definitely be the same length of the dress, unless you are a 21 year old celebrity, and it's more appropriate for a more formal setting The hat is fabulous, but not for this daytime visit. the makeup is so heavy that it disguises her natural beauty, and the hair extension that look great in Britain, seem in need of a hairdresser attention, love the shoes.
ReplyDeleteI actually like Máxima's makeup. You must take into account that the cameras' flashes usually distort the true colour of foundation and create shadows and sharp contrasts that really don't exist. The dress and the hat seem appropriati for a morning weddin, but not for the reopening of a Military Hospital.
DeleteThe earrings are pretty.
ReplyDeleteIs there someone under that hat? Frankly, she looks more like a wannabe actress than a queen. This is Holland, Maxima, not Hollywood!
ReplyDeleteNo one in Hollywood would dress like that.
DeleteNot a fan of this dress, well the texture of the fabric. Maxima is able to carry it off.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour and texture for the dress. Spoiled by the short lining/long overskirt. The hat is certainly big but it’s very much Maxima’s style and I like it along with shoes and bag.
ReplyDeleteDear Queen Maxima, please leave your hat on. It suits you very well! (P.S. I admire your wonderful earrings, wow, fit for a Queen...)
ReplyDeleteAgree! The hat is beautiful and it suits her perfectly!
DeleteNatan uses a lot of fabrics that I do not like. The close up of this fabric is not attractive to me. I think making the lining of the skirt knee length and keeping the outer skirt the same length would have helped. I do like the color on her. The hat is much too large to wear indoors. I would be more understanding if she was wearing it to hide her hair, but that was not the case here. It only served to hide her face.
ReplyDeleteI like all. The event was quite a dressy affair for the Dutch, men in their uniforms. I like her big hats, and she did take it off for inside, which is unusual, so she must have realised it was large to see her face, etc. I like that she tries different fabrics n style!
