On June 29, 2019, Queen Margrethe of Denmark visited Hvidsten town to attend the memorial service held in connection with the 75th anniversary of the execution of eight members of the resistance group Hvidsten Group (Hvidstengruppens) in Ryvangen, North of Copenhagen. The Hvidsten Group (Hvidstengruppen) was a Danish resistance group during World War II. On March 11, 1944, the majority of the group were arrested by the Gestapo. Eight of its members were sentenced to death on June 26 and executed in Ryvangen on June 29, 1944. |
La reine porte élégamment cette tenue dans des couleurs blanche et surtout rose pâle afin d'assister à cette cérémonie ; j'aime beaucoup ses boucles d'oreilles !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pink ensemble. Queen Margarethe looks great from head to toe. She looks serene .

Great pink ensemble. Love to see the Q in such great form, she looks happy.
ReplyDeleteElle a surtout l’air ému et recueilli.
DeleteShe looks lovely in pink. The more I see Queen Margrethe, the more I admire her. She is always so poised and always smiling.
ReplyDeleteLovely shade of pink she is wearing, sure wish she would have her teeth "unstained" from smoking, but then maybe it does not bother her.
ReplyDeleteSimply royal and beautiful...
ReplyDeleteQueen Margarethe seems to have changed her daywear to a cleaner and neater style lately. New stylist? I like the colour and cut of this suit very much. She looks young and fesh.
ReplyDeleteSomeone should have adjusted the wreath so she wouldn’t have to stoop/ bend low on the ground. Just my observation.
