The Epsom Derby Festival is a two-day horse racing event held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Epsom, Surrey. The first is Friday, May 31 for Ladies Day and the second is Saturday, June 1 for Derby Day. |

ReplyDeleteIt's also quite a coincidence, but my own mother had a hat almost exactly the same as the one Princess Alexandra is wearing AND a silk chiffon outfit the same mint colour that she is wearing. My mum also wore both items together, with a multi strand pearl choker with a cameo in the centre, similar to Princess Alexandra's. Tomorrow June 2nd will be the 20th anniversary since my mother passed away. This is such a delightfully unexpected reminder of my mum in it's own special way. (We have a photo of her in that outfit on our family wall which is why it came to mind).

The Queen looks great as does the always stylish Princess Alexandra. The last photo where the Queen is really animated is a winner. She is amazing.
