On June 20, 2019, Princess Caroline of Hanover, Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo Casiraghi attended the event "Karl For Ever" held in memory of late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld at Grand Palais in Paris, France. At the event, there was also French First Lady Brigitte Macron besides many famous persons from the fashion world. French brand Chanel's late designer, Karl Lagerfeld, died at the age of 85 on February 19, 2019 in Paris. |
I am sorry, but I just do not feel that they are paying tribute to him dressed like this, he did so much more and their wardrobes are full of other Lagerfeldt creations...
ReplyDeleteTatiana for the win! She looks chic and perfectly put-together, and I never thought I'd be saying that. Kudos to her.
ReplyDeleteOn the grooming front, I wish that Andrea Casiraghi -- such a handsome young man -- would shave his neck.
Signed,
Old Fashioned
Agreed, Tatiana looks perfect, classic and chic. I don't like Charlotte's dresss, looks cheap and doesn't favor her. And lately Caroline is not dressing as she used to do. I was expecting more from both ladies.
DeleteTatiana`s Look is classy and elegant. I quite like Charlottes dress, but the shoes ruin it for me.
DeleteCharlotte is lovely! Caroline’s blouse is beautiful but on a younger body.
ReplyDeleteLe pantalon va à merveille à Tatiana ! Peut être mieux que ses robes toujours longues
ReplyDeleteKarl did not want a tribute
ReplyDeletepity not to have respect his wills
Actually, he didn't want a big ceremonial funeral.
DeleteBut funerals and tributes are not for the dead but the living - they help provide closure. He's dead, he doesn't care.
Charlotte and Tatana both look great, although I’m a little puzzled by Charlotte’s shoes. Maybe it’s the angle of the photographs that makes them look so unflattering on her feet. I like P. Caroline’s outfit too. It’s very loose and easy fitting with the relaxed trousers and over-long sleeves. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteRe Charlotte's shoes, I agree they appear extremely unflattering to her, and very awkward-looking with the dress as well.
DeletePss Caroline looks nice, love the color combination not the sleeves of the blouse. Charlotte is a beautiful young women, but this dress I don't know. I think the winner is Tatiana.
ReplyDeleteI find that the winner is Tatiana too. However I do love Charlotte’s dress
DeleteCharlotte and Caroline - such beautiful women!
ReplyDeleteAgree, and Charlotte looks stunning.
DeleteI think they all look fine - love Caroline's look although her hair is in terrible condition. I think Charlotte looks fine as well - she has looked very happy and relaxed since her wedding. Tatiana looks very smart and chic here.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you Franny.
DeleteTheir jewelry is a wow.
ReplyDeletePrincess Caroline may wear what she wants, and it is not a matter of age: but she always owns that natural elegance. Very rare... Karl Lagerfeld would have enjoyed this event. - A heavy burden(or joy) for Virginie on Chanel. Much luck! Karl forever!
ReplyDeleteAll three ladies looking very good. I like them all. Lagerfeld was the king of dressing in black (with the occasional white frilly shirt) - and these outfits reflect that quite well. I am surprised by Tatiana’s less boho appearance, kudos to her for adapting to the occasion. Charlotte’s shoes are actually Lagerfeld for Fendi, and whilst I wouldn’t choose them, they are fine for the occasion and the overall outfit. Great turnout from the Casiraghis. Well done. One change (in agreement with one of the comments above): someone please help Andrea groom himself a little better. Especially the hair on the neck, but also a good trim of the hair/facial hair. Not saying he should shave clean (although I personally think he’d look so much better), but also not look like an inmate who can’t be bothered to clean up. I am all for ‘laissez fair’, but this is just distasteful and it pains me to look at him.

And Charlene was not invited?
