DeleteI think she rather hopes her legacy is the work done with her Foundation rather than for her clothing.

ReplyDeleteI don´t know who she is, but I also notice her ridiculous pose. It´s the Look-at-me-I´ve-got-a-huge-slit-in-my-dress-pose. So cheap, it´s cringeworthy. Slits, even large slits are fine but they need to move naturally, ie they don´t show while standing but will allow a peek at the legs while walking. If done right, it´s a dramatically elegant look, if done wrong, it´s just cheap.
DeleteI´m not to fond of Charlene´s white dress (morning robe vibe + odd choice of black shoes with it), but at least it´s not looking cheap. Her black dress is just sad.

DeleteDenise Richards made this picture and event tacky, tasteless, and indecent. As an American I am quite embarrassed. She is not a good representation of American women, at least not me or the ones I know.
DeleteLove Charlene's beautiful look for the Golden Nymph awards! Gown, makeup, hair, jewelry all so subtly glamorous. As for the black dress, though...no to the ridiculous shredded hemline, no to the halter-style bodice that emphasizes very broad shoulders. Oh well.

That is pretty much what I would expect from Denise Richards. I'm sorry to say that it didn't even get a blip on my radar until it was mentioned here. I have become desensitized to these poses. Another unfortunate look would be Alan Cumming's guy liner. Michael Douglas looks more and more like his dad as he gets older.

ReplyDeleteI still don't know what to think about Charlène. She never looks happy and interested in official appearances. Children and sport are her "thing" but being the princess of Monaco is far more than that. She should stop botox and plastic surgeries too. No natural expression anymore. Duchess Camilla looks much better at her advanced age.

ReplyDeleteLove the white dress - very glamorous. The jewellery is fantastic and I like her hair. There are other photos of the event where she is smiling (not grinning granted, but definitely smiling).
Don´t like either of the outfits. Better luck next time.
