On June 4, an Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs session was held at the Royal Palace. King Carl Gustaf and Victoria attended the meeting of the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs Council is a consultative body between the Swedish Parliament and the Government where the King sits as the Chairman. Nice outfit for Victoria, but not a special friend of the ponytail.
ReplyDeleteI rather like this outfit.
ReplyDeleteMe too 👍
DeleteShe looks just wonderful! A flowery dress needn't be the only way to celebrate warm weather. I love her hair that relaxed way, too.
ReplyDeleteNice smart outfit--patterned but not a hideous floral and a decent length. Much better than some recent outfits.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this look. Brava!
ReplyDeleteShe looks better with this dress than with some of the outfits she's worn lately, and the pony tail is a fresher change to the severe bun.
ReplyDeleteBetter than many of her floral dresses, but I don´t think this looks especially good. Too dark for this time of the year, not the right type of dress for the occasion (something more business-like would have been better), and just not the right type of dress for Victoria in any case. She needs simple, structured outfits, clean lines, brighter and/or stronger colours and less of that frumpy floaty stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd her hair looks bad. You can have a ponytail without pulling the hair back so tightly. And also, she should embrace her naturally wavy hair instead of combing it out. Often ends up looking literally like a pony´s tail. (But I still prefer it over the strict bun.)
I think the blouse would have looked good with a white pencil skirt. The skirt is best saved for a picnic in the park - with a simple white top. I wouldn´t wear the two pieces together (pattern is too much, too busy)
