| On June 8, 2019, Japanese Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko, Princess Mako and Princess Kako visited Grave of Prince Katsura (Yoshihito) at Toshimagaoka Cemetery in Tokyo, to pay their respects. Prince Katsura of Yoshihito (Katsura-no-miya), was a member of the Imperial House of Japan and the second son of Prince Takahito and Princess Yuriko. He was a first cousin of Emperor Emeritus Akihito. He died of a heart attack on 8 June 2014, aged 66. |
How nice to see the Imperial Family again.I am so glad to see Empress Masako.I hope she stay's happy and healthy. I wish her the best she is a grand lady.Protokol must call for gray suits for Ladies.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? The ceremony? The dress code? Anything else? If all this matters to the Imperial Family of Japan, and I'm quite sure it does, then, yes, it is necessary. Simple as that.
DeleteEs horrible. Este vestuario está fuera de época. Además los trajes están mal confeccionados o cortados . No tienen por dónde cogerlos . Para eso, que se pongan el tradicional por lo menos es más bonito.

ReplyDeleteI think everyone is beautifully dressed for this clearly very solemn occasion. However, I do not recognize the woman who appears next to Naruhito; she does not look like Masako. If it is Masako, I would say she is perhaps either tired (as another commenter has suggested), or reacting to an allergen that has caused her cheeks and eyes to swell.
