She’s a very striking woman with a lovely figure and wonderful posture, but I feel that her accessories often let her down. Here there are too many discordant pieces - brooch, pendant, necklace, earrings - such a mishmash. (V.M.)

  5. I always liked her more then her sister. I like the jacket and top and her hair and make up are great. Glad to see her doing well.

    Very elegant Infanta Elena.

  7. I like these soft colours on the Infanta. I also like the new, shorter and lighter hair style. Personally, I would wear the jacket just a smidge longer and dump the necklace.

  11. Very nice outfit, except for the necklace and earrings. Infanta Elena, despite, this she looks, regal and classy.

  12. I do like the pieces separately, but the complements are just a disaster, she loves to pile up, bracelets, necklaces and all kinds of things... this pants don't need any embellishments. I am glad to see that her hair looks good this time, much better than usual. she used to dress very distinctly and original while she was married, it has been reported that her ex- husband is a fashion aficionado and would advise her on that department.

  14. The jacket it's too short. Way too much jewelry, especially that ugly necklace. She dressed and looked a lot better when she was Mrs. Marichalar.

Her surname has never been Marichalar, in Spain we keep our maidem surnames after marriying.

Something different. I like Elena's outfit today not so much the necklace.

  17. I like the cut of the pants; would have preferred that they be in a slightly heavier fabric, but that is a quibble. Elena's hair is lovely!

Her accessories are always too much: too many, too big, too chunky. Remember that quote from Coco Chanel: "before leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory." That's what Infanta Elena needs to do everyday.
