| Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako are making a two-day visit to Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, to attend the 70th annual tree-planting festival, to be held in the city of Owariasahi in Aichi. On June 1, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako arrived at Nagoya Station in Nagoya. Then, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako visited the Shippo Art Museum in Ama city. The national tree-planting ceremony has been held since 1950 with the Emperor in attendance, at various locations across the country, to help raise public awareness of forest conservation. |

ReplyDeleteNot only the beautiful cut and fit of that suit, but the colour and the style and the way his tie coordinates with her, and then both of them viewing that incredible vase.... The overall aesthetics of the composition are just right.
Love this pantsuit, the white trim on the jacket and top are very flattering.The Empress looks like she is reborn, happy confident in her new role. I hope the IHA lets her do her job and don't meddle the way she is doing it. Very nice couple.

ReplyDeleteTHIS is what a lady´s trouser suit should look like. Forget all those tight, cropped trousers and boxy double-breasted pulling jackets that we often see on our Scandinavian princesses.

ReplyDeleteShe is blossoming as the Empress. In all the years she has been married, there were just a handful of pictures of her. Now I see so many and she looks amazing and totally relaxed. They make a beautiful couple and he seems to be very supportive of her. May they reign for many years.
