Danish Prince Joachim Celebrates His 50th Birthday

Today, Prince Joachim of Denmark celebrates his 50th birthday. He was born on 7 June 1969. On the occasion of that birthday, Danish Royal Court released a new family photo showing together Prince Joachim and his family, Princess Marie, Prince Henrik, Princess Athena, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix. (On the occasion of the 50th birthday of Prince Joachim, the Queen will host a dinner at Christian VII Palace this evening.)

      I agree. Lots of credit to her.
      I'm sure the situation must have it's challenges sometimes (like other similar families), but she seems to be doing a good job of raising a blended family and they all look happy.

      Last year at Nikolai´s graduation Alexandra slapped Marie away from the boy and rushed to photo and video instead. All was caught to video. It really looks like good revenge at this pic, Marie so close and happy with Nikolai.

    To Prince Joachim a very happy 50st Birthday, hope there are many more to come. I like the Family-picture,a very lovely family. Marie and the children are a delight to see,do love her pastel outfit.Great to see the Birthday boy so happy.

    I can't see any revenge at all !
    Here Joachim is together with his wife and four children!
    Alexandra was invited to Joachim's two birthdays parties!
    Marie herself has grown up in a very mixed family, two older half brothers (from her mothers first marriage) and two younger half brothers (from her fathers second marriage).
    Indeed, I think, Marie has been as a lovely sister for Nikolai and Felix.

    Marie know Joachim when Joachim was still happily married to Alexandra. Everything looks covered up. I think that was how A ended up with a younger man as a scapegoat but didn't worked out.

    I would not believe what is written in the media.
