Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is making a 2 day working visit to Paris, the capital of France on June 23-24. On the second day of her visit, The Crown Princess attended the opening of a health conference held at the Danish House in Paris. Afterwards, Crown Princess Mary visited Danish artist Sonja Ferlov Mancoba's exhibition at Pompidou Center together with Firsy Lady Brigitte Macron. Danish Crown Princess Mary also attended a lunch at Elysee Palace together with Brigitte Macron. Crown Princess Mary completed her visit to Paris by visiting Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi's exhibition at Jacquemart-André Museum in Paris. |
I think Mary's outfit is boring. Brigitte Macron looks perfectly dressed and coiffed today.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Brigitte. Mary's dress is basic but ok.
DeleteCongrats to Brigitte for the sort of shoes she is wearing. Even at 60 years I had given up those...
Well, I don't think so. Her outfit might be simple, but in my opinion, it's also classy, elegant and ladylike.
DeleteC’est une tenue sans chichi ,pour être à l’aise en toutes circonstances.
DeleteI totally disagree. Mary is Mary - a woman of natural beauty and elegance. Mme Macron is Mme Macron - fake hair, fake tan, fake youth.
DeleteTo be clear: My comment was about Mary and a reaction to Cynthia
Delete@ Coralie ?
DeleteI disagree with Cynthia
DeleteWhile some may think Mary to have beauty and elegance, her dress on this day was boring and matronly.
Deleteperhaps if the ladies exchanged dressed; mrs. macron with long dress and mary with the short one
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought. If they had swapped dresses, it would provide for a fresh new look for both of them.
Delete- Vanessa
Madame Macron has perfect - and yes: even sexy - legs and this is *not* a minidress. So what is the problem ... or should older women cover their bodies as much as possible?
DeleteMme Macron wears that typical parisienne chic, very unagitated.. I like it very much.
DeleteFrieda
Agreed, Frieda
DeleteI really like Mary's dress and hairstyle. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteNice looks on both of them. Mary has redeemed herself here. Mrs. Macron also looks her typical cool self.
ReplyDeleteCP Mary looks pretty in white.
ReplyDeleteVery nice dress for both ladies.
ReplyDeleteLove Brigitte!
ReplyDeleteBorh ladies had nice outfits but Mrs Macrons dress is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies looking lovely - I do.like the pink of Madame Macron's dress.
ReplyDeleteMrs Macron looks outstanding here.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteThe First Lady of France is looking very beautiful.
DeleteGreat looking dress on Mrs Macron.
ReplyDeletePss Mary looks lovely, but I liked the 1st dress with some lace better.I must say Brigitte Macron the French First Lady looks great, her dress must be by Dior again? Also she really grew into her role as First lady.
ReplyDeleteTher are two winners for me to today Mrs Macrons and Princess Mary, lovely.
ReplyDeleteMadame Macron is a Lady who knows how to dress.Mary knows that often to,but not this day.
ReplyDeleteBoth seems to have fun and Mary is so good to with people. That is a big talent she have among others
Madame Macron is a Lady who knows sometimes (when very lucky) how to dress. She is trying the french chic too hart and has no natural elegance, like the "french chic women have - and Mary. Mme M. dress is too pinky and too short - I don't want to see her knees - better not.
DeleteI am shore that Madame Macron likes her knees and do not feel a shame.Nothing wrong with her style euther
DeleteBoth ladies look wonderful. While different, their dresses both have becomingly simple, relaxed lines. My personal preference is for the length and graceful sweep of Mary's dress, but I think Mrs. Macron looks fabulous in her own right. She occasionally dresses a bit "young" (same way that younger women can sometimes be said to be dressing "old"), which can backfire -- but her dress here is perfect. A great example of how an older woman can hit the sartorial "sweet spot" with a clean, classic design.
ReplyDeleteAgree with everything you say here, Jane Chantal. Mme macron's outfits sometimes look a little too contrived but this is lovely and her shoes are fantastic. I like the cut of Mary's dress but it could be just a little bit shorter which, I think, would make it more elegant. Doesn't stop her from looking fantastic, though
DeleteSpot on, Jane. I agree with every word you said.
DeleteMary is perfectly turned out as usual.
ReplyDeleteLa señora Macron lleva siempre el mismo corte de vestido. Es el único que la sienta bien. Mary se ve bien sin mas
ReplyDeleteMary seems so en rapport with whoever she is with .
ReplyDeleteElles sont ravissantes!
ReplyDeleteMARIE
I think that they both look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIt is summer in Europe;the dresses are boring;pink and white. They need to take a few lessons from Queen Elizabeth, nice floral outfits. Mrs Macrons hair is a nice colour the style ages her. Princess Mary's hair doesn't even look shiny it is a style that is growing out she needs a trim on the fringe and the layers.
ReplyDeleteOn the Continent ladies most often do not copy how a 93-year old queen dresses - and it is quite natural as she is 30 years older.
DeleteQueen is 93-year,so it is ok, she don't follow fashion any more but NOBODY should not take fashion lessons from her. Mary and Mrs Macron both looks lovely with these dresses.
DeleteAnonymous 11:58 - I so agree, and your comment make me chuckle. Queen Elizabeth has a unique style that certainly is great for a 93 year old, but unfortunately, she´s dressed like that for the past 50 years, and has therefore looked frumpy for most of her life. Her style has always made her look like a granny even when she was still in her 40s and 50s and from then on. I have never thought that she was stylish or fashionable. So, I wholeheartedly agree that nobody should take fashion lessons from her. Those outfits would be costume-y on anybody else, and in fact, they often are even on the Queen herself.
Delete- Vanessa
Oh dear...I hope she will never dress like Queen Elisabeth please! She is stylish, classy and much much younger. She is always right to dress appropriately to the events she is attending.
DeleteMARIE
Any ID on this dress? Its very lovely design that suits many body shapes and would be wonderful to wear for summer time.
ReplyDeleteDon´t worry about what people say behind your back, they are the people who are finding faulds in your life instead of fixing faults in their own life.
ReplyDeleteMary always sports this dress length. Is it that much in fashion?
ReplyDeletePrincess Mary is beautiful, but her legs aren´t as perfect as Mrs Macron.
