On June 17, Monday, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Prince Oscar visited Skäralid Natural Playground in Söderåsen National Park in Skåne. Skäralid Playground was built in Prince Oscar's name in connection with the christening of Prince Oscar, the Duke of Skåne. Prince Oscar's Playground consists of a path with tools, stations and obstacles. The playground was built by the County Administrative Board in Skåne County with support from private individuals, companies and some municipalities in the province. Once again I prefer V's hair styling with a hair clip as today than the traditional bun. It is a big difference but still.
ReplyDeleteAll the dressings are appropriate. I know, this is a fashion blog, but: The interaction in this family is the really the best. Daniel seems to be a phantastic dad.
ReplyDeleteHe always looks so serious but in reality he is such an outgoing, active, fun loving little boy!
ReplyDeleteVery cute indeed, and he has such fun and caring parents. His sister is much the same too.
They are such great parents. Daniel was a gift from god to Victoria, i’m sure he is a great, loyal, loving and supportive partner and obviously a great, hands-on dad. Lucky her!
ReplyDeleteI agree with every word!
DeleteYes, me too.
DeleteMe too! A modern man.
DeleteAnother dress with an uneven hem. What is it with that ugly fashion that all the 'royal' women (except Camilla, maybe) seem to favor?
ReplyDeleteYes, lizzie, uneven hemlines are ugly and look sloppy. Let's hope that trend disappears along with the open-shoulder look. And whoever told Daniel that he looks good in that outfit needs 23 lashes with a wet noodle. /Julie/
DeleteI have often wondered the same thing. I do not think this style is attractive on anyone, but it is especially bad with gym shoes/trainers.
DeleteWhat is wrong with Daniel's outfit? A wet noodle? He looks fantastic as a young father looking after his kids. No one in any park in the world would question his attire.
DeleteI think the dress would look much better with a different belt, perhaps one that is a little wider and in a color that matches one of the colors in the print. If trainers are going to be a necessary part of the outfit, pants would be better-looking with them than a dress or skirt.
ReplyDeleteGreat Family outing and Oscar smile is so nice to see. Like Victoria's dress. Every child like to swing and have fun. Great fun day for them.
ReplyDeleteThe are few things more joyous to watch than parents chasing after their giggling little child. Warms the heart. :-) Their clothes were nice too. ;D
ReplyDeleteLovely couple, pretty dress, ugly shoes and not the best hairday, but a wonderful little boy.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of a lovely family. Apparently trainers (sneakers) are the shoe of the century, if we are to believe the style experts lol. So CP Victoria’s outfit is right on trend. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteWhile they may be the "shoe of the century", they need to be worn with the right clothing. Large sneakers should certainly never be seen with a large, uneven hemline dress.
DeleteFor everyone complaining about Victoria’s sneakers if you look closely in the first couple of pictures- Victoria is wearing metallic flats. I’m guessing she changed into the sneakers for the playground and walking paths. I don’t love the uneven hemline with the flats only because of wear it hits on Victoria’s body. When she wore the dress with heals, the hemline wasn’t as off.
ReplyDeleteAs for wearing sneakers with dresses, in general, as long as it’s a pair of tennis shoes and not basketball sneakers it’s fine. Wearing a pair of heels or dressy flats can be uncomfortable if someone is on their feet a lot.
Very much possible Queen Letizia copies this elegant look.
