On June 01, 2019, Charlotte Casiraghi got married with film producer Mr. Dimitri Rassam with a civil ceremony held in the Palace Throne Room in Monaco. Dimitri Rassam is the son of actress and model Carole Bouquet. The bride’s uncle, Prince Albert, his wife Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline and the groom’s mother attended the wedding. Also, attendees at the wedding included Charlotte’s brothers, Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi and her sister Alexandra de Hanover. (This page will be updated) |
Congratulations to the couple. Charlotte's dress would have been better with just one bow at the waist. Three bows clutter the whole look. I like Dimitri's well-fitting suit.
ReplyDeletewhere is princess stephanie, and her children?
DeleteYou can see Stephanie on the last picture, in red dress.
DeleteI had high expectations, and definitely a bridal gown won't have been the most appropriate. This is a perfectly OK dress for a civil ceremony, that being said, I am disappointed, the bows are too many, badly placed and so distracting. nothing wrong with mini dresses, but she is not a teenager any longer, and the so very "natural" hair which it's perfect for your everyday events, it seems lacking that spark that one would want for the wedding day.
ReplyDeleteI can see this dress without bows, a few centimeters longer, a good hairpiece, modern and subdued, a perfect hair, whether a youngish updo or a more polished look, and whereas not memorable at least it could at least have been more elegant.
The grey dress would be very nice without the bows. As for the length, it is totally ridiculous on a 32-year old woman. Even a teenager doesn't have nice knees, and that dress needs a good 15 cms more on Charlotte. I don't like the white dress either, in one of the last photos, it looks like it's ankle-length and she's wearing booties.
DeleteI think her grandmother was the last of the Grimaldis to possess any sense of style—the rest come off as fashion victims, unfortunately—but I don't really have a problem with either of these dresses. She looks nice in both.
DeleteI wish the best to the married couple...but, I think Charlotte didn't hit the nail......too many laces.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Charlotte, finally she found love. But the dress!!! could have done better
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a present with all the ribbons and bows. Only if he opens the right one he is allowed to heep her?
ReplyDeleteSinnfreier Kommentar!
DeleteFunny comment :-)
DeleteThe bows are a tribut to Princess Gracia Patricia.
DeleteSuch a strange little dress with all the bows down the front.
ReplyDeleteI think her dress is kind of cute (although we know what the bows mean to a man's mind). Thank goodness she didn't have as many bows as Princess Mabel did.
DeleteAgree.Hahaha
DeleteRoyalty fan
DeleteYes Anon 5:57, princess Mabel, really took a bow wedding dress, to a whole new level!

ReplyDeleteVous êtes seriouse?
Delete😜 not at all !!!
DeleteWell, you need help, because you are a serious problem. What a nonsence and horrible comment.
Really?Just pathetic.
DeleteHhm. Not what I´d choose for a wedding ceremony. Too short, too kitschy with those bows. (With like 10cm more length and without those silly bows, it had been a very classy dress actually.) I just hope that she can look back at these photos many years down the road and still think that this looked good.
ReplyDeleteBoth her dress and his suit have a good fit, I´ll give them that.
-Vanessa
still shocking... huge money involved... no dress is not nice at all.. funny looking.. beside this girl' legs are not nice at all.. face yes... so dess and the legs - I do not like at all... especially for a wedding cerebration? just not interested looking at these pictures..
DeleteOh well - there you go. I like it - I think it's chic and elegant and a good choice for a civil wedding when you already have a family if you dont want to go the white route. I have no problem with the length - she's got the legs for it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she saved the big guns for the evening party?
Evening dress is an even bigger disaster, rigid dress with weird protruding chest design!
DeleteAnd she save the best for last...for what I can see.
DeleteTotally agree with you... I like her dress.
Yes a charming couple, however I prefer Dimitri with his usual hairstyle than the one with gominated hair.
DeleteOnly she can pull it off for her wedding ceremony.
ReplyDeleteOn a different note - she looks relaxed, content and herself with this man.
Many many congratulations to the couple!
Nia
Beatrice is the best dressed, as per usual.
DeleteRe: Charlotte's evening wedding wear...well, I like the heavy satin fabric. The stiff protrusions at the top of the bodice are trying very hard but look sadly confused. Her necklace is fabulous. I wonder whether it was a piece that Princess Grace wore as it has a vintage look.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, all I can focus on is her necklace. Is it Princess Grace's?
ReplyDeleteIn the evening photo, Charlotte is apparently wearing Princess Grace's Cartier diamond necklace.
ReplyDeletesomething borrowed from Grandma Grace's jewelry
Deleteneither one looked happy..
ReplyDeletenew pics with a happy couple
DeleteThe dress is a bit young for her. She is aging beyond her years. Too many cigarettes and too much sun. Never looks happy.
ReplyDeletei thought the same thing. suitable for teen, early 20s
DeleteAgree, both dresses are a bit to young for her age but not her fresh look.
DeleteI think on the controry. She looks very young - as she still is - and I love both dresses. The neckless is amazing. She really is a beauty.
DeleteNice gray dress but one bow in the middle would have been OK.The white dress is fantastic and what breath taking jewelry. Nice hair and makeup too. Hope there will be more pic's.
ReplyDeleteDress is just so old Hollywood. Hair style looks a bit boring, for both of them. His suit didn't take much effort ;looks like a business suit.No doubt they will be deliriously happy;not.
where is aunt Stephanie? and family?
ReplyDeleteWhile I have not seen pictures of Princess Stéphanie and her son Louis, I have seen their Pauline and Camille videos getting ready for the wedding on their respective Instagram accounts. To be fair, I think we’re gonna have very few pictures of the wedding and those pictures are not gonna show every single guest. Just because they were not pictured does not mean they were not there
DeleteDid not find this Videos 😢😭
DeleteHellen has added a photo at the end where Louis Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb can be seen in the crowd.
DeleteThank you Dear, I see.
DeleteBeau couple.
ReplyDeleteJolie Charlotte.
Stunning bride in the evening-picture!! A Mix of Grimaldi- and Grace Kelly Beauty indeed. The groom's style, well, not really my taste...
ReplyDeleteCaroline is beautiful as always, doesn't matter how old we girls became, ha ha.
So, one can only wish many happy years to the young couple!
(Shame that there are no pictures with the little boys. They belong to the photos with their parents, don't they?)
Beatrice...fairytale princess
ReplyDeleteBeatrice....very simple, every day girl without all that designers on her......not even close to Charlott’ s natural beauty!!
DeleteI find it interesting how very different our views can by. I think the dress is okay, better if a little longer and a bit disappointing as a wedding dress for Monaco royalty. However, I think she looks incredibly young in all the photos, far more so than usual and in the first evening photo she is gorgeous and so very like her beautiful grandmother. The top of the dress is gorgeous but I don't think I like the skirt from what can be seen in the last couple of photos. For once, I am not a great fan of Beatrice's dress--too goth like!-- and if the figure in pink in the last photo is Tatiana Casiraghi, how much better she looks with her hair up or tied back.
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you! I don´t think she looks old in any of the photos, quite the opposite in fact. Her look for the civil ceremony is especially young, too young even, both hair and dress.
DeleteAs for the evening/party/gala event, I actually like the details on the bodice of Charlotte´s dress. It´s unusual, yes, but in an interesting way. Also, for women like her who don´t have a big chest, a design like that can optically create an illusion of a bigger bust and a more balanced silhouette. Too bad only, that the skirt part of her dress is an absolute desaster, including her shoes. With a bodice already interesting, she really needed a simple skirt part with clear lines. That would have also provided the elegance appropriate for one´s big day. But that stiff skirt with a huge slit down the front, a wonky balloon-like hem and those futuristic shoes. Sorry, that´s a huge no from me.
As for the other guests - I´m rather disappointed. Charlene in black, Caroline too if I´m not mistaken, Beatrice in a dark metallic dress and big hairdo strangly dramatic, Alexandra in a long summer dress that may well be nice but is not festive enough for a wedding. Both Alexandra and Tatiana have those long bows hanging down the front of their respective dresses, totally unnecessary in both cases. But I agree that Tatiana looks rather tame and polished for her standards. One of her better looks. Her hair up makes a big difference.
- Vanessa
Exactly my thoughts, AnnieM. Totally agree with you!
DeleteAgree with Anon 9:35 Vanessa as well.
Agree, Tatiana looks very beautiful here.
DeleteAlexandra's dress is not a long summer dress - it is a Chanel Haute Couture evening dress.
DeleteThere is a set of photos from the late 1980's with Caroline (wearing tiara+ blue evening gown), Stefano and children with sea as background. Photo 10 (if I got it right) very much resembles it (the atmosphere). I cannot find the old photo to post it.
ReplyDeleteIs this the one? It's one of my favorites of Caroline and her family. She wa so beautiful.
Deletehttps://i.pinimg.com/originals/fd/ba/2b/fdba2b12ec1b9df88ff8cdc5ca2afd78.jpg
I remember that photo, the whole family looked gorgeous. Maybe the tiara was a bit much, seeing that the photo looked like it was taken in the kitchen, but Caroline looked at the very height of her happiness, and it was brutally cut down not long after.
DeleteAlso note that her youngest son and step daughter are dresses as sailors just like her and her brothers when they were little. perhaps a tribute to her parents
DeleteYes. Just that photo.
DeleteKarl took the pictures for Vanity Fair article. Both in Graces country kitchen in the hills above and on the castle terrace.
DeleteCharlotte looked So happy and and in love. That dress with the bows, not my cup of tea but it showed off her beautiful legs and I loved her shoes.
ReplyDeleteHer evening look was gorgeous. Loved her hair, necklace.
ET
Love the LIC picture: Ladies In Chanel. Lovely wedding! Gorgeous Karl Lagerfeld design for the civil ceremony. The detail is breathtaking. Not a fan of Charlotte's but certainly a long time fan of her new mother-in-law. Congratulations to all!
ReplyDeleteWhy should Charlotte wear a copy? Grace was her grandma.
DeleteBeatrice upstaged the bride in her gown and jewelry.
ReplyDeleteAgree, it´s too much.
DeleteShe is dresses as princess of the ball, everybody else didn't get the memo. Don't blame her for having style.
DeleteFirst I like to say,Congratulation to the newly married couple. The Gala outfits look very nice.Beatrice Alexandra and Tatiana are the winners here and of course the bride. The necklace on Charlotte is super.Charlene wears black again not a fan of this outfit.
ReplyDeleteIt’s dark blue.
DeleteAll those bows remind me of that wedding dress of Princess Mabel of the Netherlands. Remember all those bows on her wedding dress!!!!! Well this one is just as bad! One bow either at the neck or the waist, okay, but three huge bows down the front of the dress! No! Her second dress is a huge improvement.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she supposed to have a religious ceremony in a few days? Only Charlotte knows what Charlotte is going to wear for that wedding! Stephanie looks mad, as she usually does. What's wrong with that family?
DeleteI agree, she looked happy, happy with her newly wed husband and they all make such a lovely, little family.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte evening gown is superb and must be designed by Karl.So modern and leave it to her to have something different than other brides on.Shes always been so cool and fashion confident.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy for this beautiful couple and their family.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%.
DeleteCongratulations to the newlyweds! I thought they both looked beautiful and happy. Can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the newlyweds! I thought they both looked beautiful and happy. Can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteHer civil ceremony dress is a cocktail dress made into a wedding dress by the three bows. The three bows make it into a super mini wedding dress.Perfect.Its classy and very her taste for a intimate family wedding. No big production for mother of two with white veil etc to do here.In earlier days divorced and mothers didn't do snow white with veils etc.big weddings.I thought Meghan who married 6 yrs previously should of had a dark off white beige champagne color dress and no veil.Apparently The Queen was surprised gown was so snow white and the veil.It shined.
ReplyDeleteI love her white dress. Beautiful thick satin and I know not everyone is a fan of the bodice but she wears it well.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
DeleteAbsolutely and I love those white booties on her, fresh and modern.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the tight red dress on Stephanie is the same one she had on one of the circus evening's but with a black jacket. At least her hair is in a nice bun,no jewelry as usual, the very unflattering at her age tight phony tail she always has is awful and she is so pretty with her hair down. She isn't poor but dresses very low budget and I don't understand why.She looks so incredibly unhappy still. She shines when with her children and Albert.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte's civil ceremony dress,is similar to aunt Stephanie's short lace wedding dress back in the day.
ReplyDeleteFrom the States here .... Pennsylvania. Charlotte looked amazing at her June 2019 wedding to Dimitri. We love her gorgeous style ~ ~ no matter what the occasion. God bless you Charlotte & your Family. We also love this site 'My New Royals' to help us keep up with everything Across-the-pond ~ Thanks ~ ! ~ C.M.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that Charlotte is married, and that he is the son of her friend. I wish them nothing but joy and love and health; may they have many blessed years together.
ReplyDeleteI agree...on a completely shallow note, Charlotte has married the most handsome of all her boyfriends and I couldn't be happier for her!
DeleteMemories of Mabel's dress.... shudder!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the 3 bows and the shortness of said dress.
Much prefer the evening gown and gorgeous Diamonds!
Don't think the other guest's outfits are anything to write home about either... am SO over they the 'boucle' type look of both Mothers' outfits too... seems so dated, and Princess Caroline has looked so much better on previous occasions IMO
