| On May 26, Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, Prince Felix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg attended the Pontifical Mass for final procession at Notre Dame Cathedral as part of the Catholic Octave celebrations. The Octave is a traditional religious festival dating back to 1666 which honours patron saint Our Lady of Luxembourg. (Princess Claire wore floral highneck cotton midi dress by Zimmermann.) |

CDMT looks beautiful today. The dress has been tailored to her curves and fits well. The floral midi length dress is trending among the royal ladies this summer. GD Henri is easily the most suave among royal men.
ReplyDeleteStephanie's hair was lovely at the church celebration, and her dress appropriate and subdued, if a bit plain. The voting outfit is just unfortunate...
ReplyDeleteI adore Claire's dress -- if I'm not mistaken, CP Mary wore the same one during her and Frederick's visit to S. Korea -- but it sure looks conspicuous amongst the more sombre tones worn by others in the photos.

DeleteThe men still wear black ties, indicating the mourning for the late Grandduke Jean is continuing. Most of the ladies adapt to that by wearing dark colours, not particularly stark black, but navy, grey, or black with florals. Princess Claire, however, seems to have missed the memo... joking, of course. It seems that it was up to them to decide whether to wear darker clothing again or to get out of mourning garb now.

ReplyDeleteGrand Duchess Maria Theresa's dress is lovely and suits her so well. Stephanie's dress is drab (although I accept that the family is still in mourning and will not, therefore, be wearing bright colours) and too short. It would be more flattering if just a couple of inches longer. Sorry, don't like Claire's dress at all, though it is very much on trend for summer looks.
