King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are currently making a three day State visit to Ireland upon the invitation of President Michael D Higgins. The three-day visit takes place in Dublin, Athlone, Galway and Burren. On the second day of their visit to Ireland, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended a seminar on future challenges in health and health care. The King and Queen visited Eirgrid, a state-owned company that develops and maintains Ireland's national electricity system. Next, The King and Queen visited the "Ór - Ireland's Gold" exhibition at the National Museum of Ireland. The collection of prehistoric goldwork ranges in date between 2200 BC and 500 BC. |
Queen's style blends well with her hosts; dress with jacket & scarfs
ReplyDeleteThat's another elegant outfit on Queen Silvia.
ReplyDeleteWearing green in Ireland, how appropriate! And a well fitted summer tweed suit is classy, elegant but still somewhat understated as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd green colour for Ireland.
ReplyDeleteQueen perfection II of the day! The first one being QE's outfit during the visit at BA. :-)
ReplyDeleteSurely that lady in the black/navy and teal could have left that big portmantaue of a bag under her arm and set it somewhere until after the photos. Queen Silvia and Mrs Higgins very elegant and dressed appropriately for the occassions
ReplyDeleteThat lady is the Foreign Minister of Sweden, Margot Wallström. I guess she wasn't aware that she was photographed
DeleteThe Queen and first Lady look very elegant and appropiate for the occasions.
ReplyDeleteQ Silvia is spot on with her dressing for the Ireland State visit. The First Lady Mrs. Higgins looks great too.
ReplyDeleteLovely grey green suit and scarf. The evening outfit is smart but preferred the one from last night. I love the rich purple of Mrs Higgins day outfit.
