Second Prize was awarded to Timothy Chooi (Canada) and Third Prize to Stephen Kim (US). The Queen wore a new two-tone crepe dress by Carolina Herrera. |
Beautiful!
Although it is a lovely dress, on Queen Mathilde the waist sits too high and the back is too tight.
ReplyDeleteAgree. This dress is one or two sizes too small. You can see on the model how it is supposed to fit - the waist is much lower and the bodice is much looser. Just because you wore a size 8 when you were 30 doesn’t mean you have the same body in your 40s - a hard fact we all have to accept.
DeleteHer hair and makeup are perfect and her smile is lovely as always.
True
DeleteAnon 2:42, Spot on.
DeleteAgree with all of you. It looks as if Mathilde's doesn't match the usual sizes.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a very bad side photo showing her bra.
ReplyDeleteMathilde elegant wie so oft !!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely dress for Mathilde also seldom that Gabriel is at such events. He really has grown and changed a lot.
ReplyDeleteNice dress but a size bigger; Prince Gabriel very handsome and tall as his mother.
ReplyDeleteEs una pena pero Mathilde ya no sabe vestir de acuerdo a su peso. Esa ropa tan ajustada no hace ningĂșn favor a su figura
ReplyDeleteWith her body type - very long legs and a very short torso - a dress with a lowered waist or with no waist at all might be better. But the dress as such is certainly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Gorgeous dress! Love Mathilde's hair, wish she would get it cut.
