On May 7, 2019, Queen Elizabeth II hosted a luncheon for Members of the Order of Merit at Windsor Castle in London. Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, who has been a Member of the Order of Merit since 1968, also attended the luncheon. The Order of Merit was originally created by King Edward VII in 1902 and is a special honour, which can be given only by the Sovereign, to recognise great accomplishments in the fields of science, literature, arts and learning |
Gorgeous color on Her Majesty!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see Prince Philip. He looks well. I like the Queen's dress. I get tired of the florals. The color is very becoming on her.
ReplyDeleteWunderbar-alle beide!
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteBeautiful dress and color the Queen is wearing. Nice to see Prince Philip there too.He was'nt seen in public since the road accident.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see Prince Philip at a function again. Isn't the photo of him with David Attenborough brilliant? I like the colour of this lovely unfussy dress on the Queen but it's Philip who has made my day, just be being there today
ReplyDeleteThe Queen has always been one of those individuals that looks good in just about every color, and I love that she chooses her wardrobe pieces in a wide variety of colors.
