On the third day of their visit to Germany, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands arrived in Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg on May 22. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were welcomed by Brandenburg's Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke and his wife Susanne Woidke. The King and Queen visited the Grose Refraktor, and Medienstadt in Potsdam. Afterwards, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam. |
This is one of my favorite outfits of Maxima's. The huge hat and sleeves outweigh the subdued color. The shawl spoils the look; but due to those humongous sleeves, she has no other choice.
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteGorgeous as always and the color is surprisingly flattering. However, she could cut off the poofy part of the sleeves and attach them to the hem. Might improve one of Natan’s goofiest designs!
ReplyDeleteThere’s enough fabric in those sleeves to make another garment!
ReplyDeleteGreat legs!
ReplyDeleteToo much hat. Less is more.
ReplyDeleteI like this dress just not these huge puff on the sleeves.Maxima always looks great with large hats. There are not too many ladies who can carry it off, but Maxima sure knows how.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima is one of my favorite, but I think she really needs to look at changing her hat designer, they are just to big for her
ReplyDeleteI love Queen Maxima's cheerful personality and enthusiasm but this dress is too short and the sleeves are ridiculous. I even guessed it was Natan
ReplyDeleteNatan doesn't deceive anyone: when you see one of his designs, there is no way that you can be fooled to think they are from anyone else. Perhaps he has cast a spell on Queen Mathilde and Queen Máxima, otherwise there is not an explanation as to why they pay for his clothes and, on top of that, they wear them.
DeleteFully agree, horrible clothes, ill fitting, should change the name of the house in Satan....
DeleteAnonymous at 2.34PM: What on earth?? Are you allright?
DeleteTo me length of the dress is ok, but not the hat and sleeves.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been elegant - apart from the sleeves - with an inch or two more. As it is, apart again from the sleeves, it is just ordinary, not elegant at all.
DeleteSuper. Ein ganz tolles Outfit.
ReplyDeleteMaxima simply outshines all. This dress would be ridiculous on many women but it is perfect for her. The color is great with her complexion and I like the slight sheen of the fabric, as well as the generous, theatrical sleeves, all of which suit her effusive personality.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you
DeleteThe third photo of just Queen Maxima is soft and lovely. Just perfect.
ReplyDeletePine, I agree 100% with you!
ReplyDeleteStay close to your big hats, Queen Maxima! Wonderful! Lovely outfit today.
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks very overdressed--again. Her flamboyant style may be her signature, but it usually fails. This is no exception. The dress is too tight in the bust, so this may be the last time we see it.
ReplyDeleteLovely colour but those sleeves and huge hat are too much.
ReplyDeleteMe gustaria Maxima cambiara de estilo ya resulta monotono, anticuado, otros estilos mas variados, mas modernnos la sentarian mejor.
ReplyDeleteNo me gusta este vestido, es exagerado
