King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are currently making a three day State visit to Ireland on May 22-24 upon the invitation of President Michael D Higgins. The King and The Queen of Sweden arrived in Dublin yesterday and were welcomed by President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina Coyne. Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf visited the Croke Park GAA Stadium in Dublin. The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is Ireland’s the largest sporting organisation. In the evening, the King and the Queen attended a dinner at Aras an Uachtarain, hosted by President of Ireland. |
Queen Silvia looks quite nice on both occasions.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, and she didn't even have to wear green as so many visitors do. The dinner dress color is lovely and she does look especially nice in it, but I guess I am tired of seeing lace outfits. Time for a new look? The king is even having a good time!
DeleteAgree.
DeleteWhere were Michael Higgins' two adorable dogs?
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits of Q Silvia are very nice, so are the one's from the Irish First lady.
ReplyDeleteWonderful choices for the occasions.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks so chic as always. I like the colors of both outfits , really good on her.
ReplyDeleteWhy aren't there any pictures of Sofia and Carl anymore? it seems it's all about Victoria anymore
ReplyDeleteDon't really understand what you mean. On the website of the Swedish RF?
DeleteYou haven't been looking - they're here at least half of the time.
