| U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are currently making a state visit to Japan. On May 27, 2019, Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako welcomed President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump with a state ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. At the welcoming ceremony, Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko were present. The Trumps will participate in a banquet hosted by the imperial couple at Homeiden, the largest room at the palace. |

ReplyDeleteMelania's dress is very pretty and stylish. Masako looks fine although I find it a bit dated overall - I think a different hat would change that.

ReplyDeleteAgree, particularly on such a formal occasion. I would love to see Melania in an elegant updo; she wore her hair up at one of the events on her previous visit to Japan, and looked so beautiful. (But no "messy bun" please :-)
DeleteWow, both Ladies are great looking. Especially the First Lady's dress is perfect for "spring in Japan" (including the shoes). All in all very lovely.
