On the second day of their visit to Germany, on May 8, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Leipzig to perform various engagements. During their visit, The Prince and The Duchess explored cultural heritage of the city and received information about the role the people of Leipzig played in the ‘Peaceful Revolution’ that helped bring about an end to the division of Germany in 1989. The Duke and Duchess also visited Leipzig City Hall, which houses a public museum showcasing 200 years of Leipzig history, and signed the Golden Book for the City of Leipzig and for the State of Saxony. |
Again, fab outfits on Camilla. Pastels look great on her in the summers.
ReplyDeleteI think the blue dress would be better without the lace applique on the skirt. It looks a bit 'granny,' like, "We have all of this lace, so where should we put it now?" It fits her nicely, though, and the style is getting to be her uniform.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfits on both days! Very complementary in taste and style.
ReplyDeleteShe rarely takes a misstep where her outfits are concerned.
Love Duchess Camillas choices for both ocasions, she wores them well. Prince Charles seems very happy today and Camilla is very relaxed too.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you think that Camilla's dress looks also a bit like curtain fabric? Just an idea...
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits on both days. Particularly like the patterned dress and pale coat ensemble which looks fantastic on her. She has a lovely uncluttered style which is instantly recognisable and which suits her so well.
ReplyDeleteJ'appellerai cette jolie robe bleue "robe wedgwoog". Très détendus tous les deux.
ReplyDeleteWedgwood dress! Exactly!
DeleteIn my opinion, one of the best dressed royals, always apropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteDss Camilla found her fashion style and she is sticking with it.Always great choices on this tour.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous comments regarding the lace on the blue dress looking very granny and old-fashioned.
