Spanish Queen Letizia is currently making a 2 day working visit to Mozambique in order to support the emergency aid in Mozambique which was hit by a cyclone last month and to see the work that Spanish cooperation has been doing. The cyclone affected the center of Mozambique and hit its second most populated city, Beira, and also caused an epidemic of cholera with more than 5,000 cases. The Queen arrived in Maputo, the capital yesterday. |
Today, The Queen visited The Manhiça Health Research Centre which was founded in 1996 with the support of the AECID and which became an international research center in the fight against communicable diseases such as malaria. The Queen then met with President of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi. On Tuesday, the agenda will be concentrated in Beira. On Tuesday, The Queen will get information about the effects of the Idai on the ground and about the emergency aid that Spain has been providing. |
On April 29, 2019, Queen Letizia met with President of Mozambique Filipe Jacinto Nyussi and wife Isaura Nyuss, and attended an official luncheon at the Ponta Vermelha Palace in Maputo. |
I hope it has long-term benefits, more than just being nice to them. Perfectly dressed for the event.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of this trousers and coat, I don't know why, but for me it´s not the best type of look on her, but well it's a working outfit and I think the top it's very nice and also the flat shoes very appropriate.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, this dress, I love it, all the complements the soft makeup she looks impeccable.
It is not a coat, if not a jacket , a pantsuit she wore last year for a cooperation trip also in Haiti
DeleteShe's wearing a red vest to mark the Spanish cooperation agency over the jacket.
DeleteOh, ich liebe ihr hellblaues Kleid. Wunderschön.
ReplyDeleteLetizia sollte ihre Haare wieder etwas heller färben-das dunkelbraun wirkt zu hart und streng an ihr.
I love both outfits. She is really good with kids it seems.
ReplyDeleteLoveky interacting with the kids.
ReplyDeleteToday is rare miss for me, especially the the hair is all wrong.
It ia a cooperation trip, not a fashion one, she travels without a hairdresser and she is not going to ask for one where children are suffering malaria.
DeleteChildren suffering malaria and starving and you speaking about the hair..
DeleteThis is the type of nowadays society..
She dressed for the occasion
DeleteShe is doing good and she is never average.
DeleteThat light blue dress is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen's style, hair or outfit, doesn't really matter here. Mozambique was shattered by the cyclone. She is there to show support for the victims. Who cares what she looks like when you've lost your home, you livelihood or your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteIn fact the trip was scheduled before, Spain has a project to cure the malaria there, also the two cyclones have happened.
DeleteLike the cream trouser suit which is appropriate, cool and flattering. I'm less keen on the dress--the colour is lovely but the waist level tie makes even someone as slim as Letizia look bulky.I don't think the length is quite right either. However, as said above, the fashion is second to the importance of the visit.
ReplyDeleteTan encantadora, sencilla y natural. Me gusta mucho el traje pantalón blanco y los zapatos planos. El vestido azul es simple y cómodo. Bravo, Letizia.
