| On April 2, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima made a working visit to the Netherlands Photo Museum (Nederlands Fotomuseum) in Rotterdam. The Netherlands Photo Museum (NFM) is a museum in the Netherlands primarily focused on photography. The museum collection consists of many historical, social and cultural images from the 20th and 21st century, from the Netherlands and elsewhere. The Netherlands Photo Museum was founded in 1989. Nice dress and coat ensemble, I think the dress pulled's a little around the hips, maybe I am wrong?. A little bit of color added would have been nice.What happen to Maximas hairdo?.
ReplyDeleteThe coat is great. The dress isn´t. It´s way too tight, it pulls and just doesn´t sit right (another example why double-breasted isn´t for women). I don´t like the bag either, and I agree that she needed some colour added in somewhere.
DeleteAll so true! You'd think that Natan would have a dress form made to the queen's measurements, but so many products of theirs don't fit correctly. Obviously nobody from there reads this blog, right?

ReplyDeleteNasty yes but above not tolerant about the fact that many different styles co-exist and are equally acceptable, if that is the wish of the owner.
DeleteIs Natan responsible for that dress as well as the coat? If so, you would think they would make sure the "queen" was well fitted to their clothing before being seen in public. I can't see the point in discussing Maxima's hair any further. It is a hot mess and will remain so for the forseeable future.
ReplyDeleteAs long as this is a site for royals and their fashion statements, we will continue to discuss Maxima's hair. It is part of her image and her fashion statement. There have been a few times lately when she has taken the time to style it up or curl it and it has looked quite nice. This engagement is not one of those times, unfortunately. As far as her clothing, I like this grey dress. While it does seem to pull in some pics, it is a nice style and flattering on her.

I agree. I also like the way the dress fabric drapes to her figure. It's natural and sexy without being too overt.
DeleteMaxima and Victoria know nothing about fashion, both dress and hair. They only look good in formal occasions when they can wear their tiaras.
