Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of the Panda House

On April 10, 2019, Queen Margrethe II and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the inauguration of the Panda House at Copenhagen Zoo. Giant Pandas Xing Er and Mao Sun were brought to Copenhagen on April 4, 2019. The Panda House which costed 160 million Danish Kroner (£18.4 million) to build will be open to the public on April 11. Crown Princess Mary is the Patron of Copenhagen Zoo. (Crown Princess Mary wore a new pearl-embellished sweater by Oscar de le Ranta.)

On May 3, 2017, in Beijing, the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens and Denmark’s Copenhagen Zoo signed a Research Collaboration Agreement on Giant Panda Conservation. That agreement states that two giant pandas named Xing Er and Mao Sun will be sent to Copenhagen Zoo in Denmark under a collaborative research project on giant panda conservation and breeding.

    These two Royal ladies look very lovely today. Love the white coat if the Queen and the light blue of the CPss. The Panda is cute being busy eating.

    Bonjour à toutes et tous.
    Concernant la famille royale danoise, je m interroge sur le fait que depuis des mois on ne voit plus le couple héritier ensemble lors des manifestations publiques ???
    J espère que tout va bien entre-eux.

    D'après le site ici leur dernière visite ensemble était le 01 mars, ensuite Frederik a accompagné la reine en Argentine et Mary a fait un voyage humanitaire en Ethiopie.

    Księżna znów sama-bez męża.Bardzo ostatnio występują osobno.Nawet podróże zagraniczne i oficjalne wizyty odbywają oddzielnie.Zauważyliście?

    Lovely coats for both ladies. Mary's blue is striking and Queen Margarethe looks like the Snow Queen.
