Princess Benedikte´s 75th birthday dinner at Amalienborg palace

Daniah Queen Margrethe held a Gala Dinner celebrating Princess Benedikte's 75th birthday in Knight's Hall at Amalienborg Christian VII’s Palace in Copenhagen. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (children of Princess Benedikte), representatives from the government and guests from the parliament attended the Gala Dinner.

    First a very happy 75th Birthday to the Pss. of SWB/ DenmarkIt seems a few of the family are missing. Joachim and Marie Gustav and his partner and Alexander Nathalie's husband. But it must have been fun anyway. Everyone looked lovely.

    The ladies dresses are lovely. Queen Margrethe has a lovely clasp in her hair. I particularly love the gown in the 10th photo;the colour and the softness of it(sorry I don't know the name of the lady wearing it)

    Lovely dresses. Crown Princess Mary's dress is beautiful (and I agree that the photo of her and the Crown Prince looking at each other is great) but I love the toning colours for the Queen and Princess Benedikte(the photo of the two of them embracing is sweet as well) Queen Anne-Marie's dress is too floral and fussy for my taste and Princess Benedikte's daughters dresses are okay but unexciting. As it should be, the birthday girl really is the star at this party.
