On April 13, 2019, Princess Beatrix visited the exhibition of the late artist Ad Dekkers, where all the models of his works are brought together, in the park of Bruns B.V. in Bergeijk, The Netherlands. At the exhibition, Princess Beatrix unveiled a reconstruction of a tile relief created in 1971 by artist Ad Dekkers, having a size of nine by eighteen meters. Adriaan "Ad" Dekkers (1938 - 1974) was a Dutch artist mostly known for his reliefs involving simple geometrical forms. The exhibition is organized by Heemschut Heritage Association. Princess Beatrix is the patron of the heritage association. |
The dress or suit or whatever it is is quite nice - I like the print and the velvet trim. The deep red is nice. Not keen on the hat - it reminds me of a pin cushion. Or a toadstool.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to see her hats. She has decided on a style of dressing - suits, hats and hairstyle - which are very attractive on her. No great surprises but a few tweaks which freshen her look. This is a good outing with a hummingbird on her hat! Nearly 80, right?
ReplyDeleteI agree about her style which varies just in color and fabrics. As another older woman, I appreciate the way she has decided to deal with her upper arms. She will be 82 next January.
DeleteThe entire outfit is all kinds of chic. Those Ferragamos!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so elegant , love the color on her.
ReplyDeleteDe allerlaatste deftigheid.
ReplyDeletePss Beatrix looks so elegant today, the only thing I would have loved the top better with only the stripe on the front of the jacket, not on the sleeves and the bows, a little to much. But she looks classy anyway. Also it seems she lost some weight.
ReplyDeletePrinzessin Beatrix scheint sehr abgenommen zu haben, hoffentlich geht es ihr gut.
ReplyDeleteShe has good taste. I think this beautiful hat doesn't fit her hair style. Otherwise she is right on point!
