Adieu fantastische keizerin.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Tradition, still can be used in the 21st Century. A little stiff but nice. So nice to see the future Empress there. The long gown timeless and demure. I also like to wish the Emperor and Empress a happy 6oth Wedding Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteThese lovely photos illustrate beautifully the complicated bowing protocol. I find it fascinating. God bless both the departing and new emperors.
ReplyDeleteEmpress looks amazing, as per usual.
ReplyDeleteEmpress Michiko's breathtaking gown reflects her signature style with delicacy and elegance. I've always admired the way she brings kimono-like elements to her Western attire.
ReplyDeleteIn this dress, the empress looks like a fragile butterfly. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAgree - you pur it very well.
DeleteI like this couple very much.
Dommage que les cérémonies soient assombris par la série des scandales de Akishinomiya et Komuro Kei. (cela ne se résume pas du tout à un simple problème de la dette chez Komuro, mais très complexe)
