The King’s Day route in Amersfoort started at the Kleine Haag at the Mariënhof and ended at the Eemplein. King’s Day is the Dutch national holiday that celebrates the King’s birthday which is on April 27. King’s Day began in 1885 as Princess’s Day. |

Very, very nice family to look at. Lovely outfits, Amalia really becomes a graceful princess. They seem to enjoy themselves a lot. Easy contact with the public.

DeleteI rather liked the top of Queen Maxima's outfit and then I saw the truly ghastly culotte/trousers--presumably linen as they are so crushed. The Princesses looked great, however, especially Princess Amalia, wearing one of the best formal outfits we have seen her wear. I also loved Princess Alexia's red dress with the black tights and shoes--lovely photo of her with her Dad. I think the lady in pink is Princess Marilene and love her bright fuschia jacket.

ReplyDeleteThis outfit is ok for her particularly on a King's Day, with the orange flowers. However I am not a big fan of it.
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to spot a Natan design. It reminds me of burlap. The color combination doesn't bother me however. Princess Amalia is very pulled together, but I think the dress is very old for her age. They do make a lovely family.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's a lovely family and I like their bright smiles. But fashionwise, I think Maxima's Natan outfit I don't care for the wrinkled culottes, or for the orange splotches, although her hair looks surprisingly good. I am not crazy about the print in Amalia's dress, I also think the length should be a little shorter, it makes her look much older than her age. Not fond of Alexia's outfit. might have been better without the black tights. Ariane looks lovely. IMO.
ReplyDeleteMaxima never disappoint, either you like or not, she is truly to her style.Now, the princesses are so grow up, Amelia became a beautiful young lady and as tall as her mom, Alexia looks just like the Queen and little Ariana is so sweet and i think more shy than her sisters. Beautiful family.

ReplyDeleteI really like the outfit that Laurentien chose for the day. Her style is so current and usually has some little quirk to make it interesting. Poor Alexia must have been battling some virus, she looks rather forlorn in most of the photos. Amalia's dress is lovely on her, even below the knees, and I think it is quite becoming for her age and size. She carries herself as a future queen should!

ReplyDeleteFashion wise would prefer Maxima's culottes to be a skirt, they are spectacularly unflattering from behind but I quite like the beige and orange combination. Her hair is fabulous here.
Catharina Amalia is really grown up - the dress is a little old but I still think she is looking very nice, I like the material and the shoes. Her younger sisters are also looking great.
The Royal Family is out in force today, nice to see. I like Maximas outfit just not this flower thing. The children look lovely. Amalia really looks grown up. Her dress is nice but a little to old for her. Alexis looks great, so does Arianas dress. It seems to be a favorite for Pss's. The same dress and color was worn by Prince Laurent's daughter at a joint event with her father. The same in burgundy was worn by Pss Jungeun of Isenburg at the von Leiningen Wedding and a Pss of Liechtenstein at a Wedding too. I really like this dress, does anyone know who the designer is? if yes please post it. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate the intention, but this outfit is one of the worst to date, it looks like burlap, the flowers are just like cabbages, and the culottes are so unfortunate. Love the shoes, hat and the hair looks fantastic. I generally don't comment on children's clothing, and will keep it that way as I have already seen the nastiest comments on a Spanish publication, no wonder Queen Letizia tries to shield her daughters from the haters as long as possible. All in all they are a lovely family and these girls are just so pretty and grown up.

I'm ok with Maximas dress, I'm not a fan of it, but ok.
The girls all three look fab, fab, fab in their outfits, I love them all but most I like the dress of Crownprincess Amalia. A wonderful dress, I also would love to wear. She's such a beautyful young lady!
Her sisters are both very lovely.
Alexia really looks a lot like her mom, Amalia and Ariane look a lot like their dad imho :-)

I don't think it's old fashioned, I think it's quite adult. It's a beautiful dress, she looks lovely. Live how the bouquet matches all the colours of her dress.

Bildung von hallux valgus, was sehr schmerzhaft ist (eigene Erfahrung)und gar nicht
