Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended Léonie Sonning Music Prize 2019 ceremony

On April 26, 2019, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended Léonie Sonning Music Prize 2019 ceremony held at DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen. This year, composer Hans Abrahamsen received Léonie Sonning Music Prize 2019. Léonie Sonnings Musikfond was established in 1965 by Léonie Sonning (née Rothberg, 1894-1970), the widow of editor Carl Johan Sonning. The Foundation annually awards Léonie Sonning's Music Prize to an internationally recognized composer, musician, conductor or singer. (The Crown Princess wore a lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana.)

    Beautiful dress on CP Mary. Another short suit jacket on Frederik!!! Somehow the short jackets make him look boyish.

      It is indeed rather generic, but for me it does not matter. It fits her perfectly, a safe choice.

      Das ist sehr gut möglich. Ob dieses dann auch von D&G stammt, wüßte Ich hetzt ganz ehrlich nicht. Aber jede Prinzessin hat IMO zumindest ein sehr ähnliches Kleid im Garderobenzimmer hängen.

    Perhaps predicable, as stated in comments above, but this dress is really lovely on CP Mary. I preferred the pop of colour in shoes and bag the last time she wore it. Still thing it looks beautifully elegant, as does the Crown Princess herself, of course.

    Elegant little black dress - she looks good. Don't like Frederik's suit - the material is horribly shiny and the cut of the jacket isn't to my taste. Makes him look like a salesman.
