Am schƶnsten finde ich das Abendkleid von Kƶnigin Silvia. Sofias Modell finde ich auch schƶn, nur irgendwie wirkt sie leicht gravide in dem Kleid (obwohl sie ja sonst Rank und Schlank ist).
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteVictoria wears to much black and white, especially compared to the beautiful red clothes of her mother, but her smile is so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSilvia and Sofia both look great!
I love, love, love Sophias outfit and hairdo. She looks a bit like Disney's Elsa, or like a Princess of a modern fairytale. The voluminous sleeves and her hairdo are a romantic addition to this puristic dress. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%.
DeleteAgree!
DeleteReagal, stunning Victoria! What happened, did she get a new stylist? Lovely outfits three days in a row.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sylvia looks majestic! I love the color of Soohia’s dress, and although I’m not a fan of the style, she wears it well. I like Victoria’s blouse but I’m not a fan of the busy skirt.
ReplyDeleteLove these Royal ladies!!! They all look stunning!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSofia looks just gorgeous in that blue!!! Love the style of the dress on her. Victoria's outfit looks different but good on her. Still the same hair, though. I think Red is one of Silvia's best colors. They look stunning!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery elegant dress Silvia is wearing, so are Victoria's and Sofia's pale blue or lavender, she looks good, the only thing I don't like are the sleeves, would this dress have regular sleeves it would look perfect, also like the hairdo.
ReplyDeleteThis dress of Sofia´s reminds of the sleek blue dress Mary wore in Texas the other day. And while they both look good, I don´t really like that style. A bit too nightgown-y, or slip-like (to wear underneath an actual, and more substantial, dress). Both dresses are on the tight side, and while they expose next to no skin, they still are very revealing in terms of silhouettes. The baby blue pastel colour doesn´t help. But I do like Sofia´s hairstyle which probably took a lot of work but manages to look beautifully effortless. I think it would have looked even better with a side-part.
ReplyDeleteVictoria - nice. I like the idea here. The skirt is a bit too long (and therefore not hanging quite right), but it´s a beautiful material, and the white 3D-flowers are so much more interesting than a print or lace overlay would have been. I like her little diamond ornaments in her hair echoing the flowers from the skirt.
Silvia - perfect.
Vanessa, I agree with every word you wrote. We must be of the same “school” and definitely in the minority today.
DeleteVanessa, I agree with every word you wrote. We must be of the same “school” and definitely in the minority today - I just needed to copy & paste, exactly what I thought.
DeleteWith me we are already three of the same "school" :-))
DeleteVanessa S has such a good eye for fashion and her comments are always spot on. I can't say anymore but agree. It is always interesting what she sees in the ladies's dresses and a joy to read. I have learned a lot about color, cuts, material, style from her smart statements.
Thanks Beth for your kind words. I thoroughly enjoy the exchange of thoughts here, too. And indeed, since we often seem to be on the same page, we probably are of the same "school". I´d call it a classicly elegant style, favouring timeless designs, simple, sleek, no-fuss. I´d always favour interesting accessories over frilly clothing details and would like to see people experiment with colour (and possibly patterns) rather than adventurous cuts. But most of all, I always advocate for good materials, a good fit and the right posture. Am not a jewellery person but appreciate a good hairdo. That´s me :-)
DeleteI just realised how phenomenal a figure you need to have to wear a dress like Sofia’s and look fabulous and not matronly. She actually looks sexy af. Victoria looks like a disco ball, an elegant disco ball and Queen Silvia is peak Queen Silvia.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
Delete:-)
DeleteSofia looks amazing in this gorgeous blue dress. Although it is high necked and long sleeved, it doesn't look at all prissy stuffy. Queen Silvia runs her close in that terrific red outfit. In contrast, I think Victoria's outfit is dull and the voluminous skirt is unflattering. Nothing can detract from her lovely smile, though.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic skirt, 3D at its best, I wish the blouse would have been a little less substantial so the skirt could shine. I like Sofias dress as well, not superb but sleek and charming. The Queen looks regal in red although this is just your typical lace that we see every so often.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!! She looks so good in that powder blue color. And you definitely have to have a nice figure to wear that. She looks fantastic!!! Silvia looks lovely in red. And Victoria looks good. Different for her.
ReplyDeleteI really like Sofia in light blue and Silvia in red. Somehow Victoria's floral skirt make her waist and hips look huge and her hair so tight again. So for me the winners were Silvia and Sofia.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! Well said. Love the dresses of Silvia and Sofia, but Victoria's dress is not flattering on her. Pity, 'cause the 3D idea is lovely!
DeleteI love Sofia's gown - sleek and flowing, almost whimsical. Queen Silvia looks lovely the red; but Victoria misses the mark on this outfit.
ReplyDeleteLove Victoria's look although the skirt is very large on her - maybe a slightly lower waistline and would make it hang better.
ReplyDeleteAlso love Sofia's look - the colour and the style and her hair. Fabulous.
Afraid I don't like the Queen's dress - red suits her but I find the lace all a bit much for my personal taste.
Agree, especially about Victoria and Sofia.
DeleteSofia looks amazing, both the dress and hair. Don`t lika Voctorias dress at all.
ReplyDeleteAh, P'ss Sofia's gown so strongly reminds me of the wedding dress of the Duchess of Windsor back in 1937.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the similarity, especially in silhouette, elegance and colour. Thank you for this cultural enrichment.
DeleteI like both Sofia's and Victoria's dresses. And Sofia's hair is really nice. Nothing wrong with Silvia's outfit, just a little bit boring.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Princess Sofia knocked this one out of the park. Love the whole look. And her hair looks fabulous. She has never had it done that way before. Love this!!! That is a lot of lace on Silvia but she looks so good in red. Victoria gets kudos for a different look but the skirt is a little bulky on her and her hair. Sigh. Same look. As always.
ReplyDeleteVictoria should learn from Sofia how to dress her age and especially how to do her hair. Victoria may have a nice smile and but she always looks so matronly.
ReplyDeleteMe en anta la teina y Victoria!!una falda increĆble!!
ReplyDeleteDisculpas reina y ..
ReplyDeleteI love Sofia´s and Silvia´s style both. At first thought Victoria was failure but second glance, when I realized The Thing about the skirt, I loved also it. Only Victoria´s upper part would have been better with something lighter, more open neckline and shorter sleeves maybe.
ReplyDeleteRoyalty fan
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE it, if Sofia can have her hair styled in wavy curls like Kate, and also updo's like Kate, I don't mean to say she must be an exact copy of Kate, she will just look stunning with curls, every now and then, and Kate's, or even Mary's updo's, like for formal events
DSC, I agree with the Duchess of Windsor's dress almost the same, but I still feel it's "right on track," for the modern age we're living in now. And of course Sofia can pull if off with her model figure
