On March 06, 2019, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the WE Day UK event at the SSE Arena in Wembley. At the stadium full of young people, The Duke of Sussex - accompanied by The Duchess of Sussex - spoke about their ability to change the world, during the motivational WE Day UK. Other speakers and performers on the day include model, actress and activist, Naomi Campbell and singer-songwriter, Liam Payne. (The Duchess wore a new navy cashmere jacket by Ralph Lauren.)

      They are a couple in love,they live and work together,Meghan needs his help and constant support for the first years of her new and difficult life into the Royal family.Don't worry,Meghan is a strong and independant woman,she will have solo engagements too.

    Meghan was not supposed to make a stage appearance. Harry went to the side of stage (she was not out in the open) and brought onstage. The applause was MASSIVE!

He ended his speech with a quote that he said "Why wife always says this which is fav quote from Martin Luther King Jr ~~ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate;only love can do that". Then he said " Let me bring her up here....and he basically drug her up there. It was very dear.

    Love the jacket. For someone who does so much to encourage women to be strong and independent, why does Meghan insist on clinging to Harry for dear life on so many occasions? I can see in the first pic that he is pulling her on stage but in the other on stage ones it's the same thing. Love the pic where she is applauding him.

    They are SO adorable together. Diane is right...Meghan was not supposed to appear but Harry ended his speech by joking that he was going to drag his wife up on stage and then he went to the wings and pulled her up with him. The color of Meghan's jacket is gorgeous and the deep blue brings out almost blue/black highlights in her dark hair.

    What is wrong with the collar on Harry's shirt. Meghans outfit looks very sloppy;is that Harry's jacket she has got on,noticing which side the buttons fasten on.

      I have my own opinions about this being staged and planned, but we really do not know whether it was or not. So to stick with fashion...I agree with you Anon 6:36.

      Harry collar seems to be in place, and their interaction is cute.
      Staged, planned??...there are times when uplifting messages are a boost for some people. Positive outlooks on the other hand are lost on others.

    @ Allison. You must be a very "suspicious" person, who mistrusts everyone and everything and read The Daily Fail every day…

    Meghan looks great and I love the combi black and blue. It's almost inhumane what she has to endure. I have never seen so much hate for a person nobody knows in private.

      Agree entirely, Coralie. Where is this "hate"? that is referred to. There is criticism of someone who does things differently. That happens. It doesn't mean they are hated. And, totally understandably since she was an actress, it does quite often seems as if Meghan is particularity conscious of how things look or are arranged. It doesn't make her a bad person but she's different from the more traditional royal approach which is less showy; less obvious so people will comment. It doesn't mean people hate her. As Diane said early on, the applause was massive. She's so popular with young people in particular, which you would expect as they are by nature less traditional. It would be refreshing if every negative comment wasn't seen as Hate
