On March 21, 2019, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain chaired the working meeting "Meeting Science. Spanish Research in the XXI Century" (Encuentro con la Ciencia: La investigación española en el Siglo XXI) at Palace of El Pardo in Madrid. Senior and young scientists selected by Spanish Science Ministry attended the meeting. (Queen Letizia wore a cuff detail wool sweater and wide leg trousers by Hugo Boss.) |
Personally I don't think culottes are very flattering for most body types, but they look specially bad with high heels, I know that it's a trend, but I can't love them, in my opinion they can be improved by wearing chunky shoes, or summery wedges, even boots, for an informal setting. Monochromatic outfits are Ok in my book, but I don't like the effect on today's ensemble. She doesn't look terrible, but nothing to rave about.
ReplyDeleteAgree! The model's shoes looks better.
DeleteI don't like trousers
ReplyDeleteVery nice color . Letizia looks great the only thing I don't like is the length of the pant.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Colour is lovely. Trousers/culottes are not and not flattering even to someone with Letizia's enviable figure.
DeleteI actually love this whole outfit she looks chic and professional. Letizia looks good in anything because she's gorgeous and has a great figure.
ReplyDeleteI really love her cropped trousers. Letizia wears them well. I do not care for the monochromatic look. I would have preferred the sweater shown on the model over the solid red. Even better, I would have preferred a blouse. Since these are trousers, I like a heel with them. If they were denim or chinos, I would prefer more casual shoes.
ReplyDeleteShe loves Hugo Bozzzzz
ReplyDeleteThis is a simple look with clean lines. Usually when she has to interact with young people her outfits are always understated. The legs of the pants are wide and they end at the thinnest part of her legs, but the waist to hip fit is OK. They should be tapered but I admire her for wearing outfits that have been criticised because they are presentable and appropriate for the occasion. Based on other pictures, I am sure that the young people knew that they were supportive.
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with commitments of King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain to advancement of science in Spain.
ReplyDeletebij dee outfit is een kortere hak mooier, of zijn prinsessen verplicht hoge hakken te dragen, ze wijken daar niet van af.
ReplyDeleteRed is a really great colour on Letizia. I personally don't mind culottes but I think they need to be styled carefully. I don't love them with classic stiletto pumps- I think they need something a bit more "fashion edgy". Nonetheless, I think she looks good.
ReplyDeleteLove this shade of red, so feminin and autonomous.
ReplyDelete..one of her best looks.
ReplyDeleteUn espectacular tono de rojo. Me hubieran gustado los pantalones más largos, pero Letizia se ve bien con todo, guapísima.
