King Abdullah and Queen Rania visited Westminster Abbey

On March 1, 2019, as part of their governmental visit to the UK, King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey in London. King Abdullah placed a wreath at the tomb, and the King and Queen also signed Visitors’ Book. (Queen Rania wore a grey wool-blend midi dress by Fendi.)

  2. I like it except for the skirt length. Rania from time to time wears skirts that hit a weird place on her calves and it's not a good look.

  3. Wow, Rania looks utterly chic and sophisticated. Sober, but very nice for a church visit.
I visited Westminster Abbey as well, years ago, and I will never forget it. It's is majestic beautiful.

  4. Usually I like Italian fashion, but rarely Fendi, although among the most expensive ones according to their website.

  5. The sleeves are too loose and look matronly and the length is too long for someone of her height.

  6. A tad too long, but otherwise, I love this dress. And completely appropriate and fitting for the occasion.

Hmmm, I want to like it but something puts me off.... The length of the skirt, the length of the upper part, the white Peter Pan collar that doesn’t seem to belong with the rest of the dress...the sleeves are a weird lenght as well.... If both upper and lower parts of the dress were shorter, sleeves 3/4 length and there was no collar at all it would look much better and chic, IMO.

I think you are right. But then it would be more difficult to wear for the majority of women whim can afford Fendi. This length is more "forgiving" more easy to wear..

    2. I agree, the proportions are not right. The dress looks much better on the model - the skirt length in particular but also the ratio of arm length and peplum length.
It´s not a bad dress, but the collar is a bit to nun-like, and the shoulders are too exaggerated. Also, the slit in the back of the skirt didn´t need to be quite as high.

  10. The dress itself has the right tone for this solomn visit. Unfortunately, it is ill fitting. It appears oversized, especially in the first photo. It needs a good tayloring.

  11. Het spijt me majesteit. Maar bij een dergelijke gelegenheid draagt men een hoed!
