On the first day of their visit to Argentina, on the evening of March 25, Spain's King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended an Official Dinner held at the CCK Cultural Center in Buenos Aires hosted by Argentinian President Maruicio Macri and First Lady Juliana Awada. King Felipe and Queen Letizia are making a three day state visit to Argentina. The King and Queen of Spain will attend various events during the 3 day visit. Both ladies look lovely. The Queen's dress is gorgeous and her posture is something to behold.
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies are stunning! I love Letizia's dress, real pieace of art, maybe a tad to open, and Juliana is a natural beauty with impeccable taste.
ReplyDeleteThey both look good, but I like Juliana's dress and hair better. I don't care for Letizia's hairdo, the dress is a nice color, it fits her well, and I like the embroidery. But I don't like it being sleeveless for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteNo entiendo...

DeleteAnd the dress Juliana wore when she was in a State visit in Spain.
DeleteFirst lady looks so pretty and stylish.
ReplyDeleteQueen's dress is amazing, no words!
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies looks very beautiful but I love Letizia dress, for me its really amazing the contrast between blue and gold! The hairdo, shoes and clutch are the perfect complement.
ReplyDeleteThe two gentlemen also looks amazing, especially with the fact that both choose a tie that match with their wife dresses.

ReplyDeleteLetizia wears the colours of the Agentinian flag, and Juliana the Spanish red
ReplyDeleteWow - how Beautiful both of them are!
ReplyDeleteJuliana looks amazing. Letizia’s dress, though lovely, is not for a queen on a state visit, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteShe wears the Argentinian flag, so very state visit..
DeleteThanks Angie
DeleteThey both look lovely. Juliana's dress is chic , she has an innate elegance that makes anything she wears fabulous, that being said... is just another dress, nothing memorable here. Letizia's dress is a work of art, it has the cut and silhouette that is the most flattering for her small frame, I do wish that the top part would have been a little less fitted, and offered a little more coverage around the underarm, I don't think it's inappropriate at all, but it would have been more elegant. I applaud Letizia for being a 21st century queen, she is not her mother-in-law, she is and educated modern woman, that shows her magnificent arms in spite of some women clutching the pearls and running for the fainting salts when they see a cocktail dress with cleavage, maybe they haven't seen portraits of royalty throughout history?
ReplyDeleteVery well said, entirely my opinion. Apart from that, although Juliana is a beautiful woman, the harsh eyebrows do not do her any favours, especially in combination with a not too high forehead.
DeleteBeautifully said, Cherry Blossom. I would add that I like the simplicity of Letizia's hair. With the detail of her dress, elaborate hair was not necessary. Again, I think Juliana's dress is too long. Both women are quite beautiful.
DeleteJuliana's dress is a bit boring for me, but she does look good in red. Letizia's dress is beautiful. The cut and style are gorgeous and her shoes are quite chic. I agree with Cherry Blossom regarding Letizia being a 21st century queen. If my arms looked like hers, I would wear sleeveless more often. She encourages me to get those weights out and get back to it!
ReplyDeleteAlways difficult to go beyond red but Letizia's dress is miles better for me--great cut and fit and sparkle. The firs t lady's dress with its long sleeves and high neckline is just a little dull in comparison.
We are not surprise to hear that !
ReplyDeleteTeresa, can you elaborate on the dress you are talking about? You say that is just like the "other black one" which one would that be?
Has perdido el oremus totalmente..
DeleteSo beautiful queen Letizia. Jualiana´dress is so boring
ReplyDeleteA very youthful and pure Look. The cut of the dress compliments her figure.
ReplyDeleteI like she went for this hairdo which underlines clarity. The same with the light and golden makeup which is highlighting her eyes.I have not often seen that with her. "The icing on the cake" is the choice of the discreet jewelry.
Juliana is not only beutiful on the outside, she sees to bee a very warm person and has an inner beauty as well.
ReplyDeleteBoth Ladies fantastic. The pride of Spain and the pride of Argentina.
ReplyDeleteomg omg omg I want this dress from Letizia! it's soooo wonderful!
ReplyDeletereminds me a bit on Van Goghs almond flowers..
Such a great colour, so nice with the flowers *love, love*
Love Letizia's dress and shoes - stunning!
ReplyDeleteHermosas mujeres!
ReplyDeleteBellísimas, las dos.
