On March 25, Crown Princess Mary and Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tornaes arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia for a three day working visit aiming to see on site the progress relating to SDG5 (Sustainable Development Goal 5). During her visit, the Crown Princess will meet with President Sahle-Work Zewde and Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed. In the morning, The Crown Princess and Minister Ulla Tornaes visited St. Paul’s Hospital and met with health personnel and local women. |
Like this well coordinated outfit especially the lovely green blouse. I know it's a working visit but think it is certainly at the casual end of the spectrum.
ReplyDeleteLoveky Mary
ReplyDeleteVery flattering silhouette on Mary, but I’m not so sure of the colours. Maybe there’s some green in the skirt to tie the blouse in with the skirt? Otherwise it looks a bit disjointed to me.
ReplyDeletePerfect for the location. Professional yet casual, relaxed yet very sophisticated. She’s perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe blouse is a nice green color on Mary, but the skirt is too much fabric and not flattering. Love the Ralph Lauren purse.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people always want things to match perfectly. Mary often uses contrast to add interest and mix things up. This outfit is a homerun.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Colour matching is not the only way to reach perfect outfit. It could be even a little bit boring. I really like this combo Mary have here. And I think besides Mary having a strong sense of style she is an intelligent person who can benefit from her expertise in the projects she is involved in.
DeleteLos anteriores estilismos no me gustaron, este sí, es elegante y la sienta bien.
ReplyDelete@5:33 I see what you mean. The pattern is slightly off. The outfit itself is okay, and green is one of the colours of the Ethiopian flag. Reminiscent of the deep blue shirt and patterned skirt by CH worn by Letizia in visits to London and Paris.
DeleteI am amazed that this skirt that must have been expensive doesn't have the pattern matching at the side seams.
ReplyDeleteThis was an absolute requirement when I was learning to sew, and i would think should a given on "designer" labels.👎👎👎
Nice blouse and skirt, something different for a change.
