On February 7, 2019, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine of Sweden attended a fundraising dinner held for the benefit of The World Childhood Foundation at Gröna Lunds Tyrol in Stockholm, Sweden. The fundraising event was organized by Swedish Princess Madeleine and her friends Katarina von Horn, Lussan Thott, Lovisa de Geer and Ingegerd von Porat. The income gained at the event will be used for the activities of the Childhood Foundation, that are relating to prevention of violence and sexual abuse against children. Love the neckline and silhouette of Medeleine's gown.
ReplyDeleteMaddie is back 🤗🤗 I like all of them
ReplyDeleteMeghan has the same gown in blue.
ReplyDeleteWith different color of bag and different style of shoes it would look much better .
ReplyDeleteI like the neckline also it suits to her face.
Magnifique, lumineuse, grandiose, sublime Madeleine. La Floride lui réussit à merveille. Mais elle a des échasses ou quoi ? elle est plus grande que tout le monde, sachant que les autres ne sont pas particulièrement petits.

ReplyDeletePrincess Madeleine is back!! I love her dress and accessories but I love her SMILE the most!!
ReplyDeleteWoww. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMadeleine is a real beauty with elegance, class, grace and really good taste. She probably gets it from her mother who is also a wonderful woman.
ReplyDeleteMadeleine is at the height of her elegance and beauty here -- her Roland Mouret exquisite gown, her earrings, her hair, her glow, her smile.
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely. Madeleine's dress is gorgeous, her shoes are fab and she's just glowing. Queen Silvia is sheer elegance. What beautiful colours. 😀
ReplyDeleteI think that it's not very smart to wear plastic shoes when the world is sinking in plastic garbage. Especially the northern countries insist on enviromental protection, so those shoes are a big no. In every case she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteMadeleine looks beautiful and elegant
ReplyDeleteThis was a fundraiser for exploited children.
ReplyDeleteMadeleine´s dress, shoes and bag were €10 000.
How can you applaud that?
This disproportion exists in nearly every charity. That‘s why I doubt the motives.
DeleteApart from that, Madeleine looks great.
People attending this kind of functions can easily afford the designer clothes. They also financially support the charities and the fundraising events. Whether they should stop those galas-fundraising events...well, if its troubling you so much, why not send a letter and tell them to stop?
DeleteI also doubt your estimation of 10.000€ is correct (I got much lower sum). You can buy e.g. Marchesa clutch from sale, also designers do sales and show their support to some events by borrowing gowns. So this was just an arbitrary calculation.
I can applaud Queen Silvia's and Princess Madeleine's work for the World Childhood Foundation.
What her outfit's price has to do? Did she took money from the charity or something? Or were you forced to pay the bill?
DeleteI think its fun to see designer clothes in the fashion blog. It would be boring if ladies only wore cheaper brands like H&M and Zara (which are ok but nothing special imo). There are reasons why designer clothes cost this much but they are often on sale and then more affordable. BTW: other royals have also worn Roland Mouret, no big scandal then.
Everyone looks great.Lots of sparkle. The men look their best too.
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful Princess: Madeleine of Sweden. What a stunning lady.
