Today Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel celebrate the 10th anniversary of their engagement announcement. In order to celebrate that 10th engagement anniversary, The royal court published a new photo of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. The photo was taken last year by royal photographer Linda Broström. (The second photo was taken on Princess Sibyllas floor on February 24, 2009.) |
10 years today, the beginning of a Fairy tale and still going strong. Wonderful couple. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteTime has been very kind to the two of them. They look more in love now than 10 years ago. They have moved forward with a life filled with their children and love and laughter and making the world a better place. So happy for them.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteAgree, Patricia!
DeleteVery nice pictures, they look very happy. She looks much younger with her hair not in a tight bun.
ReplyDeleteAus dem 'Mädchen' von damals ist eine tolle Frau geworden!! Wie sich die Körpersprache doch verändert hat.
ReplyDeleteGlückliches Schweden
Yes! I watched Victoria grow up. So glad she is happy.
DeleteVictoria hat mit Daniel die richtige Entscheidung getroffen , denke ich mal : Er braucht mur seine Frau und die Kinder glücklich machen und der Kronprinzessin den Rücken freihalten !!
DeleteA lovely Royal couple , very well matched .

ReplyDelete10 years later Victoria looks very young when she doesn't wear a lot of eye makeup. She looks like in the blue dress picture. I think women over 40 in their quest to stay young actually age themselves with too much eyebrow makeup overdrawing them into thick shapes, and lots of eye makeup too. Victoria's mother actually has the best brows for a lady her age. She is not exaggerating the shape, she is keeping them on the thin side similar to when she was young. It does not age her.
ReplyDeleteA real lovely picture, better than the older one.
ReplyDeleteSome red nail polish appreciation please....
ReplyDeleteIt is true LOVE
ReplyDeleteeen prachtig stel!!!!
ReplyDeleteStill over the moon after ten years. Lovely pair.
ReplyDeletePrince Daniel has been such a wonderful husband to the Crown Princess over the years, and now the their family. I give him most respect for adapting to that role. They look so happy and still in love. Many congratulations.
ReplyDeleteAgree, Prince Daniel seems to be a wonderful husband and father.

ReplyDeleteI love these two. That´s a heartwarming picture.
ReplyDeleteI think the King in retrospect now regrets his initial opposition to this match. No husband could be as supportive, devoted and loving to his wife as Daniel has been. He has never set a foot wrong, never embarrassed the family. He has only enhanced it by enhancing Victoria's life and bringing her happiness. And he's a great father.
ReplyDeleteNot sure that is the case; he seems to have moved from "no, an inadequate choice" to some jealousy because Daniel has better popularity figures than him, and does the job perfectly while he had predicted the opposite.
DeleteGreat couple for a great country. So does the whole family.
ReplyDeleteDaniel is a gentleman but soooöo boring.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that, if I may be asking?
DeleteI admire and adore Victoria and Daniel, they're one of my favourite royal couples.
I think Daniel just prefers to stay on the "safe side". He was not at all prepared for that sort of life and prefers to keep a low profile, except in areas familiar to him. Please do remember that when he is in a school or at sport activities he is a totally different man. I can only congratulate him.
DeleteIn recent decades, more and more commoners have married into European royalty. Those who are not born in a royal family must first learn that. There is not Daniel alone, who was not prepared for this kind of life.
