  1. The jacket looks great on her,but I think she should have worn a cocktail dress to this event. She seems underdressed compared to the other attendees, who probably upped their game because the Crown Princess was going to be there. Regardless, her personal warmth really shows here.

I actually like the choice pants because she is honoring athletes and because she needs good mobility to meet and greet at this event. I also like her hair! So shiny and healthy!

  3. The nicest hairdo for a long time. This really suits her.

  4. The jacket provides the right amount of glam for the event. Love her ponytail.

  5. Monica, I agree with you. What a pity.

@monicabarker Her body is not the point. She is honoring para-athletes and has recovered from anorexia in her youth. Comments like this hurt everyone and anyone who agrees could look into correcting microaggression against women.

    2. So because she's recovered from anorexia she can't wear clothing that shows off her nice figure?
      I agree with Monica.
Victoria always dresses so frumpy and androgynous, and it's a shame because she's still young enough to wear better fitting clothes.

    3. Always? Look at her evening dresses of when she‘s wearing dresses in summer. The suits are workwear. However she offen wears them from h+m and that‘s a fault - they never fit.

    4. Monty, I mean her clothing she wears in regular engagements. Her evening looks are almost always fabulous.

  8. @monicabaker, why should any woman feel that they have to show that they are fit? It's a choice, some like more tailored clothes, others don't, I personally like my yoga pants tight, my jeans fitted but not vacuum sealed , and my skirts and dresses just so they don't hug my bum or cling excessively to my bust, maybe because most of us know what it's more flattering and comfortable to our bodies. The statement of regretting not showing off seem a little shallow to me.
I don't like the jacket, I find it matronly, but she worked it pretty well with pants, and a young hairstyle.

Microaggression is the "backhanded compliment" such as CP Victoria wears awful clothes but has a good body so what's she thinking dressing like that sort of comment, which equates the female body with the person inhabiting it.

The scrutiny of the female body is a contributor to eating disorders and no one should be subjected to that.

There is no reason to assess another woman's body, it's damaging to all people of all genders.

    1. Come on. Her comment was harmless at worst, and at best was complimentary to Victoria. There is a distinction between standing up against body shaming and being far too sensitive. Victimhood if women is infinitely worse if women are too sensitive.

Instead of "coming on" I will report this blog and every commenter on it that shames women from now on until the moderator ends it. I'm tenacious and ha great skills.

    1. You need to find another blog to troll. Trolling is not a great skill.

  11. I am sorry if I offended anyone. Never was my intention and it is not me. MAybe the pictres did not make her outfit justice. I just see CP V dress in so many different ways that I wonder sometimes who decide what she wears. On her days "off" when a photographer get a pic, she looks he age and I personally like that. She is stunningly beautiful woman. I was not trying to shame her or any other woman. Let us be peaceful. Royalties typically are. Sorry again.

Surely! Do not worry! Calling me a troll and overly-sensitive as I object to microaggressions and body-shaming! Moderator?

@monicabarker I agree with your last statement and let us be peaceful as you say; I couldn't agree more!
