The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Dundee

On January 29, 2019, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Dundee to officially open V&A Dundee. The Duchess of Cambridge gave a short speech celebrating the addition of this major new cultural centre for Scotland and the UK, in her role as Patron of V&A. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess greeted members of the public on the waterfront. The Duke and Duchess then met with workers from the Dundee Michelin factory and attended a meeting of the Michelin Action Group which works to repurpose the site and ensure new employment opportunities for the local area.

  1. Kate looks fantastic! This outfit is a perfect match!

  2. I like this. Very flattering silhouette, fits her well. It is a "safe" (conservative) outfit but the unusual bag shape and colour combination provide interest.
I wish she hadn´t buttoned up the coatdress to the very top though. Looks a bit restricting on the neck.

  5. Are they not being referred to by their Scottish titles there? Earl and Countess of Strathearn?

  6. What a fantastic outfit, perfectly tailored coat, elevated with the super cute purse and the green scarf. I also like the choice of opaque thighs. She looks right on point today.

  7. This woman is pure elegance and class. I love that she added the scarf with the look because it made the outfit even more chic.

  13. Catherine's sapphire and diamond jewelry is so beautiful. I remember the drop portion of her earrings on Diana. And, of course, the ring. Catherine has made them her own. Perhaps we will see those earrings on Charlotte one day.

  15. It's not new but she has always looked great in this. Intrigued that, when they went walkabout, the Earl had a coat but the Countess only gained a scarf. Hope she had thermals on! It's always bitterly cold in winter in Dundee in my experience!
