On January 31, 2019, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the delivery of the "Grants for Master's and Research Aid" of the Iberdrola Foundation, held at Iberdrola Offices in Madrid, Spain. The main purpose of the Iberdrola International Master's Scholarship Program is to train top-level professionals in areas that are strategic to the sector. (Queen Letizia wore a pleated jumpsuit by Zara.) |
Pretty color, but this rather shapeless dress needs a wide, assertive belt, rather than a thin, limp one that does little to bring definition to the silhouette.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The ribbon thing is all wrong.
DeleteI completely agree, that sloppy belt cheapens the look.
DeleteNicely executed styling for this jumpsuit. She actually looks better than the model. The ruffle on the sleeve adds more detail for the eye to focus on. The shoes...Fab! She looks delighted to be there and is actually more popular among this demographic than the others. (Yes, there is a picture of Rania wearing a similar look in December)
ReplyDeleteagree...she looks wonderful..
DeleteThis is how you look superb with a low cost dress, she rarely wears saturated colors, but should do it more often, love the color, the details, and the shape of this one, and the shoes are the perfect complement. Well done Letizia!!
ReplyDeleteLetizia does so well at low-cost dressing, and she does so for reasons of optics so as to not upset her subjects. Her success in this does make it seem even more unnecessarily extravagant when you see royals wearing outfits worth hundreds or thousands of pounds to a daytime event.
DeleteAgree, Isa!
DeleteI like the color and the black belt make a great contrast.
ReplyDeleteBut the price is the best, great image, low price and show Spanish fashion.

Letizia does it again. She looks fabulous. Love the colour and the pleating and the contrast provided by the belt. The shoes are just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI do love the look, too, but as a practical thought, why is this a jumpsuit and not a dress? One wonders how do you remove it just for the "necessary" time?
DeleteStunningly beautiful !
ReplyDeletePerfecta Letizia con un vestido de 13€. Así es como se hace para estar bella, moderna y elegante sin derrochar el dinero. No es cuestión de precio sino de actitud, gracia, buena postura y accesorios bien elegidos.
