On January 23, 2019, Crown Princess Victoria visited The Norrbotten Regiment in Arvidsjaur. The Norrbotten Regiment (Norrbottens regemente), whose designation is I 19, is an arctic armoured, light infantry and commando regiment of the Swedish Army and its origins date back to the 19th century. The duty of that regiment is to struggle with difficult terrain conditions and climatic conditions and to ensure surveillance under these conditions. The regiment is specifically trained to perform duty also behind enemy perimeter. The regiment is located in Arvidsjaur. |

ReplyDeleteThat's one fantastic outfit here :-)
ReplyDeleteI like it, that she joins the soldiers in this very cold weather. She gives them respect and she does it wonderful.
Ha, ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteTotaly agree Anna, very good work.
ReplyDeleteChristian, are you a Troll?!
DeleteIn the 5th Pic, she looks exactly like her mum... I have never seen such a huge similarity between these two bevor

ReplyDeleteFinally someone who is wearing comfy winter clothes! :)
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria is absolutely excellent in her support of her nation's armed forces - frankly I prefer these many appearances to the gowns - a very serious woman! (like Princess Anne!)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Anna B.
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta give this future queen credit for putting duty before glamour! I am sure the soldiers appreciated her wish to get "down in the trenches", so to speak, to learn something about their lives and to give them encouragement. Victoria seems to have very solid priorities.
ReplyDeleteAgree with "Victoria seems to have solid priorities" she appreciates their great work. This is some kind of "walk in someone else's shoes".
DeleteI m not sure the clothing is her size. It looks borowed from a big guy
