Queen Silvia's 75th birthday celebration at Drottningholm Castle

Yesterday was Swedish Queen Silvia's 75th birthday and the Queen met with all of her children and grandchildren to celebrate her 75th birthday. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Alexander and Gabriel, Princess Madeleine, Christopher O'Neill, Leonore, Nicolas and Adrienne met with the Queen at the special birthday party held at Drottningholm Castle. In addition, the sister of the king, Princess Christina and her husband Tord Magnuson were also present at the birthday party.

    Joyeux Anniversaire à la reine Sylvia. On imagine une belle fête entourée de tous ses enfants et petits enfants. La princesse Christina est la plus jeune soeur du roi et non de la reine.

    Little Oscar in his coat - too cute! And of course they have snow there, what a winter wonderland!
    In my country we celebrate "Heiligabend" tonight, so I wish everybody a peaceful and merry christmas, wether you celebrate today, tomorrow or on january 6th!

      I agree Coralie; thanks to Hellen Electra for this blog.The Swedish Royals are a lovely family;it looks as though it is really cold there. In South Australia Christmas day will be 35 degrees celcius; over 100 degrees farenheit. Merry Christmas Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all.

    This must have been a lively Birthday party with seven little ones running about. Would be nice to see a pic with all seven in one spot. Lovely children.
