On December 4, Queen Mathilde attended UNESCO Global Education Meeting held at Egmont Palace in Brussels. The purpose of that meeting is to emphasize especially quality education right and to introduce SDG 4 (Sustainable Development Goal 4). The Queen who is a defender of UN's Sustainable Development Goals attaches particular importance to education and its connections to other SDGs. The Queen gave an opening speech at the meeting. In the opening speech, the Queen emphasized the importance of a quality education, the need of education for girls and spoke about inclusive and accessible education. Oh God no! That blazer looks like something worn in the 80's.
ReplyDeleteJust an awful jacket. At least she wore it with black and not red.
ReplyDeleteI like that she took a risk with bold color.
ReplyDeleteI think the jacket is fun, love the color splashes, and it fits quite well. Her choice of the black pants is disappointing, though, and the dark blue in the jacket would look better, in my opinion. Or a pencil skirt would be great, too.
DeleteI agree K H. A navy pencil skirt would have changed everything. Maybe next time she will do that. One thing I always admired on Mathilde is her makeup. Never too much. always complementing her hair / earring / outfit. I wish Catherine could take some tips from her and give up that dark eye that makes her look old and tired. At minimum for the day events.

The jacket is ugly . It looks too small and has awful colors . I am sorry to say that but this is what I can see.
ReplyDeleteIk vind dit vestje te kort voor Mathilde. En net of hij afgewassen is.Mathilde moet eens kijken naar het pak van de koningin van Noorwegen, voor dit item, dat is mooi.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is too short on the model but it looks better on the queen. Yes, Queen Sonia's jacket a lovely one but she has worn some wild-looking colors, too. A very bright-looking yellow formal gown comes to mind. She was trained in tailoring and fashion design so one would expect impeccable clothing on her.
DeleteAnd this proves that even Armani can create a ghastly piece of work. Thus jacket could be salvageable worn by a teenager with jeans, platform tennis shoes, black glasses and a black sweater underneath, and we have a " rock star" 😂 Not flattering for Mathilde.
ReplyDeleteI like the jacket, colourful and fun. Looks even better with the red trousers.
ReplyDeleteTerrible jacket on Mathilde. Short jackets are not flattering for her generally, and this particular jacket is ugly to boot.
ReplyDeleteErm... I'm sorry but I was definitely NOT expecting THIS on Mathilde! She's always so classic and modest. I'm sorry but even though she stepped out of her 'comfort-zone' I see nothing I can like. Only the hair is nice...
ReplyDeleteMathilde, please burn this jacket!
ReplyDeleteNot the best look for Mathilde.Just because it is Armani means nothing at all.
ReplyDeleteMe encanta la chaqueta ,me la voy a comprar
ReplyDeleteUgly jacket, but Mathilde is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteouch! vraiment pas sa meilleure tenue! de plus, je trouve que son visage trop lisse la fait de plus en plus ressembler à Mozah.
ReplyDeleteo. m. g.
ReplyDeleteplease, throw that away.
or back very very deep down in your cupboard where it will never, never see daylight again *gwah*
The style of the trousers emphasizes the terrible fit of the jacket. Both are wrong for her figure. Bad separately, worse together!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, not at all flattering to her figure. She looks much better in solid colors. Where are the stylists in these countries? Bad advice or either the Royals don't take it. Sad.
