King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia attended the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of Princesa de Girona Foundation (FPdGi) at Royal Palace in Madrid. The FPdGi is a private foundation set up by civil society entities in Girona in 2009 and backed by 88 distinguished trustees. The honorary chairman is King Felipe VI of Spain, on behalf of his daughter Princess Leonor. (The Queen wore a new wool dress by Massimo Dutti). |
Q Letizia looks elegantly fresh .
ReplyDeleteNothing spectacular about this dress but, as usual, perfect fit makes all the difference - it fits Letizia much better than the model
ReplyDeleteWhen will Leonor be old enough to take over these duties, after she completes her education is my guess.
ReplyDelete????
DeleteAngie, no te preocupes. No te atribuyo ningún comentario anónimo.
DeleteRoyalty fan
ReplyDeleteNo, this is a big NO, looks like a house dress, when you will 'spring clean' your house. Love her hair
a bit tough but I can see reasons for that. Also too strict, too conventional, too unattractive both for Letizia and the model.
DeleteI think it is the "midi" fashion...not flattering for anybody..
DeleteOn the last pic next to the model Letzia`s dress doesn´t look good. I recognized that picture because I saw several pics of this event and the upper part of the dress was looking a bit ..
ReplyDeleteOnly Letizia Can pull off a dress like this.
ReplyDeleteMARIE
I like this dress but think it's a little too long for Letizia's petite frame. It would be smarted a few centimetres shorter. Royalty fan, I laughed at the comment about the house dress or overall--I see what you mean! While I am getting used to the darker hair, I think I preferred it a few shades lighter.
ReplyDeleteI'm sort of in the camp of it looking like "house dress." I think a nice size broach with a little sparkle would be a big improvement and make the dress is a little more special/significant.
ReplyDeleteI think for the occasion a bit to casual.
ReplyDeleteNo me gusta.
Letizia usually does such a good job of wearing clothes that do not overwhelm her smaller frame. But this dress is not one of those times, which is probably the reason for the "house dress" comments. It should have been a bit shorter and not so full, great shoes!
ReplyDeleteAngie is arrogant and I dont feel comfortable posting my opinion regarding queen Letizia who by the way is a beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteThere are many arrogant, rude comments many times. But don't let that stop you from voicing your opinion. Everyone has their favorite royals and take fashion criticism as a personal attack sometimes. But this is a fashion blog and opinions should be allowed.
DeleteThe honorary chairman is King Felipe VI of Spain, on behalf of his daughter Princess Leonor, Angie, that is why I asked if she at some point would take over her fathers duties for foundations like this, not her mothers and I was not being absurd, just asking a simple question as an American just asking the age when Leonor would so some duties like Princess Victoria did. I know she would be an adult not a child.
DeleteDe nuevo, te ruego me disculpes.
In Spain we do not know at what age Leonor will start doing it. Her father did his first speech at 13 as she has done. At 18 years old he swore the Constitutio...so..it might be a clue...
DeleteThank you
DeleteAngie no problem sometimes language barriers mess up translations.
DeleteQueen Letizia always looks immaculate.
