On November 19, 2018, Princess Sofia of Sweden attended Samhall's Show the Way gala held at The Vasa Theatre in Stockholm. Princess Sofia presented the "Employer of the Year" award to Joanna Halvardsson. For the tenth time this year, Samhall gave the Show the Way award to the employer who has shown the greatest effort to open up the job market to people with disabilities. Samhall is a state-owned company and aims to create work that helps the development of people with disabilities causing reduced working capacity. (Prenses Sofia wore a new pleated skirt by Sandro.) |
Sofia has found her "groove" with her style. I like it except I wish the skirt was the green all the way down. I do not like the color blocking in the skirt. It looks ok with all black but not the two colors.
ReplyDeleteI like Sofia. But sadly her style is more disappointing and leaves much to be desired.
ReplyDeleteI really wish she would get a new stylist.
Nice outfit but not apropriate for a gala event. Its completely out of place. Her hairstyle would be better suitted if she had Her hair up. Maybe she would wear it to a metting soon.
ReplyDeleteThe men are in suits and tie so I dont think it was black tie.
DeleteIt was a gala, even if isnt black tie, if u could wear it in a meeting, u shouldnt wear it in a gala. This looks good for a meeting.
DeleteThe men could wear their suits in a meeting. The word gala doesn't automatically dictate dress code. The organizers dictate dress code. Theres a picture of the event that shows a woman in black trousers and white blouse looking very business ready.
DeleteI seen videos of the event. It was very fancy and expensive to produce. Many stage performances. Photos on instagram of guests looking very fancy taken before the event.
DeleteHer hair needs to go.
ReplyDeleteSofia is beautiful, but I agree. Her very long hair (extensions) makes her look like a young teenager with an adult's body. Therefore, her style and personality often do not fit together.
DeleteI actually like her hair here, nice loose curls. I do not care for this outfit. The top seems too casual and the skirt is rather matronly.
ReplyDeleteThat´s what I thought too. It´s the pleated skirt in particular. Pleated skirts look both dated and matronly.
DeleteNice to see Sofia again. Like the skirt.Maybe a silk top would made it pop a little nice smile.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is lovely! I like the design. She looks very confident when she speaks in public. It is a little refreshing to see something different. She also doesn’t really look underdressed for the event from what I can see from the pics or from the other lady getting an award. She looks appropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree - she looks lovely.
DeleteAccording to me the outfit is just right not too formal and not too casual
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit on Sofia.
DeleteShe looks lovely. It be nice if Victoria would wear her hair this way for a change.
ReplyDeleteVictoria would be beautiful with her hair this way. We can hope....
DeleteLove, love this outfit. Classic skirt. Clean lines. Her figure is back after two babies so close together. She looks confident, gorgeous, and most of all happy. Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteMe gusta la pollera de un sólo volir; no me agrada la parte de arriba... debió ser más formal
ReplyDeleteBRAVO !
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Something doesn’t look quite right on this outfit. A sweater and a rather matronly skirt just don’t make a suitable combination for a gala. It’s too dressed down even for certain office environments. And I don’t think it does her any favours.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I agree that her hair is due for a serious change. She looks teenagery and somehow cheap. Like something a Kardashian or a shallow celebrity would wear. Not that Victoria’s severe ponytail is a whole lot better. I have to wonder- are there no good hairdressers in Sweden? (By the way, don’t bother answering, I am convinced there are, it’a completely rhetorical).
Anon Nov 21 at 1:55, me too.
