Macedonia's President Gjorge Ivanov and his wife Maja Ivanova came to Jordan for a two-day official visit. On November 18, 2018, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan welcomed President Dr. Gjorge Ivanov and First Lady Maja Ivanova of the Republic of Macedonia with an official ceremony at Al Husseinya Palace in Amman. |
Hmm, I like the color of Queen Rania's dress, and it has elegant lines -- but the unusually high, snug collar, combined with the very tight wristbands on the sleeves, convey (to me) an impression of constriction and discomfort.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it’s like the dress is wearing her. A very stiff look.
DeleteYes, the upper part looks uncomfortable
DeleteI don't know what to say, this is not one of the better choices she made what fashions concern, but I do like the color and shoes.
ReplyDeleteUgly dress
ReplyDeletePhantastic as always. She has the best fashion sense of all royal ladies. And she is always well "groomed", hair etc. She is fashionwise top, because she styles the futuristic fashion in a very sophisticated way. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteThe stiffness actually defines Rania’s style for me. There’s always a lack of approachability, a sense of lack of control over what she is wearing. I know it sounds weird but that’s the key to her being a modern day fashion icon.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this dress was inspired by the look of the cravats worn by during the Napoleonic and Regency era.
ReplyDeleteWould these well to do elites like to know the miserable condition of the numerous orphans, deprived and needy people across the Globe.
