In the evening of November 19, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde held a state dinner at Laeken Royal Palace in honour of President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron who are making a 2 day state visit to Belgium. Among the attendees of the state dinner, there were Prince Lorenz, Princess Astrid, Prince Laurent and Princess Claire. French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron are currently making a state visit to Belgium upon the invitation of the King and Queen of Belgium. |
King Philippe looks dashing and Queen Mathilde is beautiful, inside and out. Her gown is beautiful, classic, and so is her hairstyle/crown, jewelry... All come together in a magnificent manner. She looks younger and so lovely.
ReplyDeleteAgree . The king and queen look so regal.
DeleteAgree.
DeleteMathilda, wow, very dramatic neckline, beautiful color on her. Brigitte would be better if the belt or whatever is around her would have been lower on her actual waistline. Both women have had their hair done in a very elegant way.
ReplyDeleteWunderschön! Mathilde sieht hier einfach bezaubernd aus.
ReplyDeleteFrau Macron weniger...
Totally agree
DeleteThe Queen looks very regal, but poor Mme Macron is not looking well, her dress makes her body look strange, too high necked, belt? in the wrong place, totally shapeless.
ReplyDeleteMathilde looks wonderful. I´m glad her gown is burgundy and not black as the first picture suggested.
ReplyDeleteBrigitte went for a slightly futuristic column dress again. Not too bad, but clearly too short for her. Both the hem and the silver panel under her bust needed to be 5cm lower.
Mr. Macron tends to have too short jacket sleeves.
Wow! Mathilde is so beautiful! Love her dress, hair, jewelry...
ReplyDeleteWow Mathilde! You knocked this one out of the park. Mrs. Macron looks fabulous too, very Parisian chic.
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies looks very good. Beautiful dresses and very nice hairdos.
ReplyDeletePrincess Claire looks very nice as well
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde is so very elegant and regal!!!
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde's hair is beautifully styled -- so exquisite with the tiara!
ReplyDeleteI rather like The queen's dress, velvet is always a winner when used with clean lines. Very interesting cleavage as well, although I don't much care fir the very structured old fashioned updos, I must admit that she is coiffed to perfection. Ms. macron, looks rather minimalist and within her style, on this occasion it seems to me like the dress is not cut to her measurements, and the silver panel should be lower, she looks a little awkward, not horrible but not a winning look for me
ReplyDeleteStunning. Also nice to see more of the RF in attendance. The Jewels are fantastic too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress on Mathilde; although it's not the best choice to wear with her order sash, which is precariously placed and doesn't hang well. But fashion first, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteImpecable Felipe y Matilde;hermosa por dentro y por fuera da la impresión de acoger a los invitados, Mme Macron se vistió de Imperio pienso para quedar más alta
ReplyDeleteMme Macron wears an empire dress with the typical raised waist - very fitting and modern interpretation. This subliminal criticism of her gets on my nerves. On every other woman, some would have praised this dress in the highest tones. She looks pretty good for her age and seems friendly and competent - thats enough, right?
ReplyDeleteAgreed! She looks very good. Who cares what helps she may or may not have. We all use helps along the way. She and the French President seem to really love each other. She is friendly and competent.
DeleteAgree, love this outfit.
DeleteMathilde is zo knap, en zo groot tov mad Macron. MATHILDES Kleed is prachtig, wat een chique Koningin en Koning.
ReplyDeleteMathilde... perfection!!
ReplyDeleteMs Macron, I like her dress, she looks good!!
What impresses me most is Mathilde’s choice of tiara. This is a state dinner and probably requires a tiara but Mathilda has chosen a more modest ( ! } one perhaps because she is not hosting “another tiara.” I have noticed other royals who don’t show this consideration. IMO
ReplyDeleteBoth women look lovely.
Good point regarding the tiara.
DeleteMathilde looks absolutely beautiful. She could have worn her sash the correct way without taking anything from the neckline because it's wide enough.
ReplyDeleteMrs Macron's dress is a bit short, but she is lovely as always.
Sorry, this dress does make Mathilde looking too big. The color is great, but the cut, not my taste.
ReplyDeleteMathilde woww
