In the evening of October 28, 2018, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received official calls from the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition at Government House. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess attended a reception hosted by the Governor General celebrating the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in Wellington, New Zealand. (At the reception held at Government House, the Duchess wore a modified cap-sleeves navy dress by Gabriela Hearst and carried a navy leather clutch by Dior) |
Gorgeous!Smart and elegant!!!Love her!
ReplyDeleteLovely. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteMeghan looks so young and beautiful and always eager to smile and talk. She's a new air to royalty!
ReplyDeleteMeghan surprises me every day ! She is the best "public relations" the royals could imagine. Beautiful dress, simple and elegant. I adore the sleeves.
ReplyDeleteI agree. She is perfect for the job. In addition she has a beautiful and sexy voice perfect for delivering speeches. She is not nervous, she is easy to understand, and the content was high quality too. She is very qualified. She did hit the ground running. The firm should be very proud of her. She seems to be a girl's girl too.....not intimidated by beautiful women.
DeleteBeautiful dress and shoes.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so pretty. Very confident and comfortable. Her speech was AMAZING
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress--I love the cap sleeves rather than the spaghetti straps---, hair jewellery shoes--all spot on. Full marks for this outfit. I also love the rose patterned dress of the lady who I think is the wife of opposition leader Simon Bridges. On the other hand the Governor General's dress seems clumsy and the PM's outfit seems overly casual. The photo (no 4) where Harry seems to be peering over Meghan's shoulder to catch what she's saying is great.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the outfits of the other 3 women.
DeleteI want to like this dress - there is just something about those cap sleeves and the creation of a large modified rectangle at the top that make it look like the top of a jumper (U.S. definition, not U.K.!). I don't care for the spaghetti strap version either. It needs some other neckline/sleeve treatment.
What a lovely dress she looks great wearing it. Loved her speech. Harry chose well.
ReplyDeletePerfect!!!!
ReplyDeletevery nice look
ReplyDeletePerfection!! What a clever alteration, those sleeves are the perfect solution to make the dress more sofisticated. The bodice is impeccable.Glad to see she is wearing sandals, instead of the so predictable stilettos.
ReplyDeleteoh gosh meghan you need to rest after this tour, and take care of the baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFlawless!Harry and Meghan are the best!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best outfits she has ever had.
